I saw the post on Unemployment today and felt sorry for the average Nigerian Youth.
The government lied to us, and they keep churning out graduates with no plans

Here are sure fire business that will give you money since we can't find jobs. The goal is for you to target towns and villages places where these business are not many.

Let go:

1. OPTICIANRY.
Opticians make a lot of money some glasses can give you gain of 20k to 30k if you can go to a college of Health Technology and Learn Dispensary Opticianry.
Instead of going to Universiry go to College of Health Technology instead, people will always need glasses as they age.
Total cost of learning might be 300k but the gains are in millions

2. OBY/ XRAY.
If you can also learn physio therapy and Massage that will be better.
Another course in the College of Health that pay well. People will break bones and do pregnancy scan, you are sure of daily or weekly income.

3. HOROLOGIST.
Don't look down on people doing or repairing watches, they make a lot of cool money and they are not plenty. If you can invest in selling the watches you will be in millions.

4. SELLING HONEY
Take a bus at Ijora Badia from Lagos and go to Taraba state go to a local government on your way to Gembu called Ger.
Go and buy original Honey cheap there.
You will see it for 10k for 50 litre gallon
Come to Lagos and resell it in Eva water bottle for 3k per bottle and you will target Catholic churches, those old High blood pressured church goers will buy everything from you.

5.SELLING PEPPERS
peppers especially habanero peppers sell for 3k at Jos you can buy 5 or 6 bags and pay them to load them at the back of the bus and tip them 1k
And sell it at 15k here in lagos or ibadan

6.SELLING MEDIA.
If you can download films and songs target the villages and local towns you can sell them to the youths who have android phones for 200 naira per one and Also corps member in boring villages
They will always watch and come back for more.
You can download with torrent from YTS.

7. SELLING FRIES :
Potatoes is a life saver, you can sell it raw during the day and fry at night. If you have the strength.
There is money in it

Don't leave businesses for the northerners alone
Study them and learn from them.

To living besides Nigeria. If I learn more I'd share

Re: Lucrative Businesses That People Don't Know by Psiyohos(op): 8:54pm On Mar 25, 2023
The idea is to go to the towns and Villages and be the king of those places. Just to fill gas in my village we have to go very far
Employ people and put them there
.
8. SELLING EGGS

If you can survive the 16 weeks layers practically feed themselves , they will pay for their feed and still give you an average of 300k per month.
If you have space, and you can stlll rear broilers on the side

9. Farming Plantains and cocoyams
If you can, farming perennials like Plantains and cocoyams means that you get snails for free. AND They can never die, one Plantains can give you 5 more suckers. Water and manure only

10. Car wash
Already mainstream, but not in towns and villages. To save cost set it up near canals to save cost on water

11. Clothing
Touche up the katangowa and bend down select will it kill you to wash and iron thsee clothes and sell it for a flat rate of 500 naira in University areas.

12. Pallets building materials
People are always setting up SMEs, you can buy Pallets from sawmills at 100 naira and sell at 150 naira, quick building materials like nails and cutlass go well in towns too.

13. Gas
One cylinder can give you 60k if you are fair, your niche should be the home service, Nigerians are lazy, get a bike and you can cover more ground.
There's money in gas filling

Update this
Re: Lucrative Businesses That People Don't Know by Psiyohos(op): 5:17am On Aug 11, 2023
STATIONERIES:
Selling of books, textbooks and Novels near public schools is a very good way of making money in this country. You can add small bags and lunch box sets too if you can afford it.

VENDORS:
Seling of Newspapers, and sport newspapers are cool way of making it, don't let their washed out cloths deceive you, vendors are making money. Go to Ikeja Under bridge and ask, if you want to become one. Your target customers should be bus drivers at busstops.

RADIO STATION:
This to me is the best buisness anyone with foresight can get into, it is a business you can pass down for generations.
You can target local communities, some states don't still have 24 hrs RADIO.
You can be the first and you will make money forever from advert.
Go to Alaba International ask for Obivideo he can help you start up. (I think he's in Ajah).

Or you could do a program, buy time from RADIO station and do programs ( Nigerians are traumatised) any program on psychology and Ways of living can earn you thousands from advert.

PROVISION AND FOODSTUFF
If you have a sit at home wife, you could open her a provision store and it could also serve as a store for the family and a way of buying food stuff in bulk
Man must wak.

PHONE ACCESSORIES:
Though, this one is now saturated especially in Lagos but if you target local towns polytechnic and university areas. You can still be in a lot of money.
Go to Alaba and buy them cheap.
You can get earpiece for as low as 800 naira and sell at 2k or 1.5k

Expect more..

MORE BUSINESS IDEAS

SEX SHOP: As ludicrous as it may sound Nigerians are one of the highest consumer of Porn in the world. If you are one of the first to sell Sex Videos and Intimacy gadgets in Nigeria, targeting major cities like Lagos Abuja, and Portharcourt. It might take sometime but you will get your customers.

PARTY, BAZAAR AND GET TOGETHER
Many Nigerians are bored and don't have social skills, they long for get together to bring them close to one another.
You just need a field, some speakers, game shows, cotton candy and you can just name it one name of your choice

Your business will be to monopolise the sale of water and soft drinks to make your money,
It could be :
Reggae party,  Jazz Party, Hip Hop Party,
Dog Owners Party,  Cat Owners Party, Retiree Get Together, Gen Z Party,  Anime Comic Con, etc

PURPOSE: Do you ask yourself sometimes what is Nigeria's greatest natural resources, its not oil, its people.
We have a teeming population of youth and young adult with nothing but time on thier hands.
How do you harness this..
You give them purpose.  They are jobless and bored.  Find something for them to do.

First set up an NGO
Get funding from either government or private individuals
Then recruit these young Nigerians to do some work for you and pay them on an hourly rate.
E.g: Tree Planting NGO. Recruit them in thier States asking them to plant trees for 10 naira per tree.
Or you could send them to the local villages with security of course to places like Taraba or Ondo
the plains there are in need of trees.  (With the level of deforestation in Nigeria for firewood and coal, this is needes).

It could be Pottery, Horticulture,  Gutter cleaning,  As long as you don't owe and you are fair. You will find youths willing to work for you and you get to make your own money via the funding from government

ANTIQUE AND PAWN SHOPS: With the current and imminent economic downturn a lot of Nigerians will part with some of thier valuables just to eat, you could buy these vases, ceramics,  diamonds, necklaces, paintings. To sell either abroad or later at more value

ART STUDIO: there are lot of talented Nigerians who don't have the opportunity to express their talents, many painters, sculptors, Artistes without a place to practice or finding.
You could get or build an empty warehouse and House these prospective young Artists. And give them equipment to work on either canvases, pencils, etc for them to do their work
So that if they are sold you have a percentage cut for it

There is no such thing as bad art and painting it only appreciate in time.

SOCKS, SINGLETS AND SCHOOL Bags,: A shop in a school area, where wholesale and retail of these items are sold will do well as Nigerians are never going to stop churning out children
Boxers, rubber wristwatches, water bottles, Handkerchiefs could be added.

INFORMATION: A very important thing to sell is information. I predict either being unable to access information in time, or unable to afford data.
You could be the sole provider of scarce PdFs, movies, documentaries and Books and sell them at very expensive rates
Information is power and wealth in one.

OPEN INSTITUTES AND NIGHT SCHOOL:
This is an idea, I'm quite reluctant to share, but oh well, Since your country is very stupid and wants to keep increasing the price of School Fees. Leave them.

Buy 3 acres of land, create an open University/ Polythenic that offers Night school for young adults that are working
A lot of them are looking for flexibility in education. A Night School from 6 to 11pm in Lagos will really make sense
Just build the place in the pattern of NYsc campMale Hostel, Female Hostel, Pavilion,
Department Office and 3 classes shikena

Enforce the usage of Tablets, Go online and download PDF and Videos relating to the course they are studying
Send it to their tablets Shikena.

Go to A regulating body and get certified as am INSTITUTE, make your classes at night and Charge 50k per semester. You go make money ehn,!! At the end of the semester  get a computer centre to do your exams CBT better still get a deal of 300 computers and use your institute to host JaMB exams when due.

A SPORTS SHOP: The Problem with Nigerians is they don't how to create a niche just to sell a business
If you buy 2 acres of land and build a basketball court which can also serve as a volley ball court and football field, .
You could open the only sport shop where you can sell JERSEY, socks, anklets, and boots. You can also sell snacks and soft drinks on the side.

DRIVCARE APP: It's just a name I formed with the addition of Drive and care, you could have other names like Willow, CATER etc. It's basically an app that offers to drive old people, disabled and People with down syndrome to get an purchase things, see places or family.
You can build the app, upload it on Google play store for people interested.
You don't need much  just Recruit people who are patient have a lot of love in their hearts and are trustworthy

Get a Suzuki Super carry or Diahatsu Hijet remove the entire back seats and install a ramp at the back of the bus,
Get your own wheel chair so that you can transport people.
Go to their houses, pick them up and drive them to where they want to go,  you will have to take them back to their houses safely and charge a very reasonable fee for driving them, maybe 5k per trip.
You need patience, good name and lots of love in your heart to do this one.

VHS To MP4: Nigerians destroy things a lot but you can serve as the remedy to a very lost cause,  many people have Videos of their weddings and parents burials that they would like to watch again.
This is another Business I would really like to do.
You can get the machine and help convert their VHS to MP4, you can also Get a vinyl extractor also for old albums that some people still have and help covert it to FLAC or Mp3

Vintage Photography / School of Photography: this business is for the rich,  you could invest in the sale of vintage camera, like Polaroids, Rollielflex etc and the sale of 35mm film rolls. You might be the only one doing this in Nigeria,
And it can also be incorporated as a school of old photography have a museums and study old photographers and thier styles.
Those cameras due to their discontinuity sell for quite the price if you have the money to buy and wait for a buyer.

A MASCOT AND A Memento Of  a Town:
This idea requires you to be very artistic, you can sell the mascot, sight or monument of a town or a state.
You could use plastic,  rubber, coconut shell to sell these.
These miniature designs could serve as little statues, key holders or mementos.
Imagine a small statue of  a Hands raised Fela, National Stadium, 042, Idanre Hills, etc. Whatever is unique about your town for tourist and visitors.

PLASTIC/NYLON DIApErs: instead of the environmental degradation of single use Diapers you could create a Nylon, or pleather Diaper that can be washed out, with a pocket function that can house a tissue that can be removed out and replaced.
The funny thing is this can be done with waste,  Either Bagass (sugarcane waste) or sachet water nylon
There is an Indian I saw on YouTube using Bagass to make really exciting things

PRIVATE FOOTBALL LEAGUE; This is another crazy business idea, but do you know you just need 20 (4 acres of land) and 18 thousand Containers to build your own private football league.
The World Cup in Qatar showed that we can use abandoned containers to build a stadium. Imagine if you had a billion naira lying around. Some people do though.

A PHOTOGRAPHY Museum: You can recruit people who are really interested in wildlife, Greyscale and landscape photography to submit their photos in your museum which you can sell for a percentage. While you charge per entry.
Easy and cool money.

APP FOR WIDOWS: one of the lonely people in the world are Widows and Widowers. A Datjng APP can be created for them to find some kind of affection and love in their lives again you can call the app
AGEAN ( Again with age) or THE REKINDLE
Before you can use the person have to show pictures of their previous marriage,
A marriage certificate and verification to stop the app from being polluted by miscreants
Set up dates in coffee shop, Bus rides, and Parks, for them compulsorily as they might have lost interest in things like that.
Something like that sha, set the AI to pair them according to Zodiac signs to make things flow easily. Water Signs with water signs,  Fire like that.

OLD SOLDIERS CLUB: Get a bar and paint it in the Miltary Colours and Camo exclusively for Old Soldiers for them to meet, recount thier tales and enjoy themselves,  for sure you will sell a lot of beer, don't sell on credit oh  they can owe person o. Every Christmas get them customised  fez cap, they like those

But set up good music, Karaoke, Jokes, Snooker, Chess, Draughts. And if you are adventurous you can set up sex workers.
They like sexa lot.

COMiCS and CHILDREN BOOKS: This business requires its own specialisation as they are quite rare  and very hard to find, if you have someone who can send them from abroad all the better.
Books  by Enid Blyton, Comics like Archie, the Gargoyles,  The Amazing Spiderman are hard to find. And as an adult I still love Comics and I haven't seen any shop that sell just comics in Nigeria

An Arcade: People who go into this business spend on expensive games, rather spend on the nostalgia . Some of us will pay to play Pachinko, Atari, Ps1, Family Con, and since these games are not expensive, they can be easy to maintain unlike those expensive ones .
You could sell games too like PSPs, and others in the arcade.

YOGA HALL: your intended target are the housewives of the wealthy in Nigeria, if you have a Yoga hall of female employ only
You could have a health class and a healthy following. You couldn't go wrong.

Exploring these business ideas is akin to embarking on a health journey. Just as volleyball promotes physical fitness and height, these ventures can be the catalyst for economic wellness. Concept of height growth in volleyball takes on a metaphorical meaning here—embracing these opportunities may not only lead to financial growth but also contribute to the overall health and prosperity of individuals and communities. It's a reminder that the path to success, much like in sports, involves a holistic approach, both in business and well-being.

More:
A good business is one that superimposes on the will of the people. You have to sell something that they can't help, but have to buy.
Look around your community and ask
What is that thing they can't do without, or what is that thing they lack and how can I bring it to them

CLEAN WATER
If you have 500k
You can open water in communities in Ilorin and in Enugu and sell to people and to water tankers. Water is scarce in Enugu, Edo and Kwara state and many local communities there lack clean water.
While Other communities have waterun the ground but no one has been concerned enough to help them  make it pipe borne

SOLAR GENERATORS
You can also sell solar panel generator and
And solar bulb since NEPA light is an issue in some local government
Buy them cheap in alaba international and sell it on their market days.

ONDO STATE and more importantly the town is desperately in need of malls and  cinemas, If you have the money it will good to invest there. Same with Ile ife since It's a student area.

Space for parking cars.
You can build car spaces in the cities in the form of duplexes. There are certain places in the Island that thus will be feasible and you will make more than you would if you sought rent yearly.

THE SKY:
Look up what do you see, I see advert space for companies that really want to get their products known.
You can invest in air balloon and invite them to advertise with large banners or painting the air balloon itself..
Unlike the traditional bill board that is static, this one is mobile and will attract the needed attention from children and parents.

BEANS VILLAGE: for Ministeries and Secretariats, If you can find a space close to a secretariat and sell beans exclusively with bread. A lot of workers don't eat breakfast before going to work. You can mediate that as beans last longer in the stomach.
For instance in Alausa Secretariat any one who opens a beans village will find patronage from The Secretariat,  ICM and Bank workers situated around that side.

... SOUP DELIVERY  name it SOUPSTOP OR SOUPEVERY (Soup+delivery)
This is a good business for a stay at home wife, who really knows how to cook good soups  Why not cook soup for workers who are mostly too tired from the Lagos traffic to cook anything andThere are lazy yahoo boys who are "too busy" to cook
You can make the soup just add meat and ponmo based on how much money they pay and sell from 3k upwards.
Let them pay for the delivery, when you are done you can FREEZE THE SOUP.
You can get a deal on Fufu, if you want
But focus majorly on soup.
You can also make pepper soup and do bargain sale during rainy season. choosing either fish or meat.
And a special of hot yam peppersoul for just delivered women

A SHOP OF NATURALS:
You can set up a shop that deal on Naturals, which the current price of things people will revert back to these as they cheap and easy to procure.

Shea butter
Coconut oil
Avocado oil
Seeds
Tea
Fenugreek seeds
Cannabis oil
They don't spoil and with the recent cost of things, they are only alternative available

DAY CARE FOR OLD PEOPLE
You can run a day care, of old people where working class people who live with thier parents can drop their aged parents pick them up in the evening especially for workers who have parents who are handicapped disabled or have dementia.
They get to play with their mates, not feel so lonely and it gives you some respite while at work.
You don't have to employ any Togolese Maid and the cost will not be too much.

TOURIST GUIDE:
One of the reason people don't travel is that they are afraid abd need guides when they are in a new place. You can serve as small guide and assist them when they are on leave or vacation.
I wanted to open a Business like this it will be in form of what Thomas Cook did in the UK. Name it Travelers Anonymous. I wish i had the hotel database of jumia travel. Become a travel agent for people across Africa. Give them the local police numbers and ensure their safety.

A HOMELESS SHELTER
For those who can't afford housing or those who just relocated to another state while they struggle to find their way
A daily payment of 200 naira can provide bed and blanket for so many bridge sleepers and prepare them for life while they look for jobs and save up for rent.
Especially in places like Lagos, Lekki and island especially

Sale of Crocs and Rubber slippers, since that is the footwear of GenZ. If you pick a place that have not been covered yet.
You could sell something every week

DEVELOPING NATURAL DRUGS:
A serious pharmaceutical company can take advantage of the gap left by these fleeing companies and formulate
Drugs from our own natural medicines and natural herbs
Grounded ginger can be tablet for indigestion, Scent leaf powder can be turned into a tablet as a laxative
Capsulated aloe vera can help diabetics patient, Scent leaf and ginger tea for Malaria. etc
Even if they are in form of supplements.
They can be sourced locally and remedy the high cost of medicines

Online THERAPIST
Using zoom or Google meeting or better still create your own app that blurs the face of your patient for confidentiality purpose .
Many Nigerians are scarred from Childhood trauma, depression and other unprocessed traumatic experiences
You can serve as a therapist. Provided you have a  degree in Psychology or G&C,
This is quite stressful but can pay as its not easy to piece through anyone's life.

PET ARE US

Especially in places like Lagos, Lekki and island especially

Sale of Crocs and Rubber slippers, since that is the footwear of GenZ. If you pick a place that have not been covered yet.
You could sell something every week

Thanks man.

We need innovation in this country

We need to move past the motif of shop infront of the house which is not only very ugly but also constitute market society defacing the community
Selling the same wares, provision, gas and foodstuffs.
It is quite sad

We need innovations like
Pottery.
Sculpture
Racing
Cycling
Volleyball
Rugby
Purpose centered investments to turn the country around.
Re: Lucrative Businesses That People Don't Know by Psiyohos(op):
Radio Program
For once oir twice a week, you could buy time at a radio station and do a program based on your forte, Music/movie review, Business Analysis, Market Review,
Voice Over, Audio play/ series. It will not be immediately but a followership coukd bring advert Bookings and this could be a side hustle

Food /Kitchen Accreditation agency:
With the right certification in Public health you could create a health inspection agency in charge of Food, Kitchen, public Sanitation you could get the needed approval from State government and create employment by running it as an Agency where you could be paid by both the individuals running the business and government
Or you could also become a revenue stream for the state government

Selling a library and work spaces;
Sometimes we roam the city looking for somewhere to sit down and browse, or sit down and read for a few hours. It might be just to type, read a newspaper or to simply wait for someone.
You could sell a library/ work station.

Nba highlight Football highlights : A lot of sport enthusiast get bored, no place to watch either old or recent matches.
In a university area, you could download sport video from sportvideos.ua(I think) it's in torrent files, Get a big flat screen television and play old basketball, hockey, football and soccer matches/highlights. If your fee is reasonable you might sell soft drinks, run it via solar and really make some money.

Vegetables shawarma!!!: we now have lot of vegetarians in Nigeria, some people don't like all that frankfurters ok their system, plus meat is now expensive.
Why not sell the Crunch!
Say it after me ... The Crunch!! (Yea)
Be innovative sell a vegetable sharwarma of fish, Irish, carrot and lettuce, and pumpkins, a little bit of sauted macaroni and you would make more, preserving more vegetables, using less heat (gas), selling a little cheaper

Books Rent
You could go to Mohammed, there are many young girls running POS stands, housewives bored in their shops and take your books/novels to them.
Give them 2 weeks to read and Signal for a return and swap. Take their name and phone number if they rent for 200 naira. You could make 2k daily as a side hustle
Rent novels must be in good condition

Computer training:
Desktop publishing is the least required in this jet age, and many people both old and young still don't know how to operate a computer, Abridge this gap, keep your fees reasonable. (You could collect monthly) and you will be in business.

Chicken feed, Eggs
: Expensive business now, but still I'm business, get a shop, pallet, two cats and run an assured.

Beans flour
. Also now expensive, but if you can ground beans flour, with crayfish, package it either in nylon or small paint bucket, target school teachers utilizing a credit, when they you pay salary system. Ehn
Be careful, teachers owe..

Broken noodles : This has to be my most sapaest idea, I saw hunger and I knew money could be made from satisfying hunger, I walked past Agege, I saw Dog food, I said well.....
Hear me out, these noodles could be parboiled, dried and resold. If you have the time, boil these dog noodles, parboil, dry it, package it in a nylon for 200 naira and target secondary school children after school and it might finish that day.
There is hunger in the land.
Or you could go to Ijora Badia or wherever the Northerners see broken pasta, if you buy it package it in a transparent nylon. = Money.

Detergent sandal sock nose mask handkerchief

Sleep pod
: I love this idea so much, many lagosians and Nigerians as a whole don't sleep well in their houses, some houses are tensed up with family pressure, some have lousy neighbours others run two jobs and require a quiet place before their other Job as a security guard.
If you collect their phones, take them to an aluminum demarcated hall with futons and pillows a small PC fans (those ones sold in Ikeja along) for 1k per 2hours
You might find people sleeping it off, or sleeping it over if you don't mind running it through the night.

Memory card and earpiece for guards :
Security guards stay bored for the longest, those who run the 2-3days shift, sometimes with nothing to keep them company, could be your niche. Meet them agree an installment payment for memory card with movies and music. (Their salary is poor)
20 guys like that for 2k per week. Hmm side hustleeee

And make massage cheap, easy and the norm.
Let them say na just 1k I pay 'dem stretch my bone well'

CATALOG OFFICE:
Are you a retiree with too much time and still itching for some office work, you could run a catalog office. First get a catalog app, or run it via excel.
Get the important local information
The amount of births in the day
The amount of deaths
The amount of accidents
Pupils in a school
And you could sell these raw data to Data Analysts or Government parastatals.

DRAWING MATERIALS:
You could run an exclusivity of drawing materials, they don't spoil, you spool yours, and get to standardize your wares by name brand.
I know of Hardemy in Terminus Jos. But I haven't quite found pencils exclusives for Architect and artists around where I stay. It isn't fast money though.

The Cheapest Shop To Erect

This is for those who are struggling to open a shop because of the cost of rent, and local government fees and it's sustainability.
You need a big Umbrella
A banner
And a bench

And you might not have to pay rent , you chose a bench because it is easier to recline on and sturdier than a plastic chair. It is what the northerners that do bureau de change use.

You could set a showglass and sell fries, phone accessories etc
Start any business, start small, that's the path to your liberation.

Operate a flea market
Trinkets, necklaces, braceletsJade stone , ceramics, vases and arts
Chinese painting and Japanese paintings downloaded
Printed in Di image and framed for homes and offices.
Go to people who import goods from abroad and go after those things they ignore.

Dave list: An obvious pun on the American Craigslist Nigerians don't have a list specific that show where people can get things
Like where can I buy original palm kernel oil.
Fo after business and registered them on your site and you could generate traffic by pointing people in the right direction business wise

Using the idea of the cowry card used by Lagbrt
You could delve into the business of security card, which can be used in library, school hostels and office

Open toe converse and Snickers, Footwear, could have a serious company like Clarks, still we ares still in the habit of burning tyres in this country, a serious company should invest in cheap footwear especially for school children, anyone who brings back the kito of old would be in money

Aluminum Lunch boxes, aluminium water bottle and Aluminum iron stove which uses charcoal
This requires Construction work. I wish I was still in Jos to show my design to those iron workers in Terminus. I like how they construct thier charcoal stove, they could also construct a Japanese Bentou box for lunch boxes, that conserves heat and an aluminum coal iron that heats easily We might have to revert back to it with the price of electricity .

Vintage Media: you could sell vintage camera, films, vintage Music device for collectors, Walkman ipod, CD music like jazz and Classicals and Cassette

Tv app for supersport and ESPN Aljazeera, Dstv is quite stupid, if you think about it, you know the bulk of Nigerians watch the premiership and other sports. Why not just create a sports only bouquet with maybe Aljazeera and two local station for 10k
A lot of people can't stand the noise and heat of viewing centers, but the price of subscription is too expensive.
I wish a Nigerian who can create a partnership with any of the network provider to create an app and timely based data for football matches.
Like the Airtel Hourly unlimited plan.

Sell purpose; This is nott a business but an investment in human development it's a Music App let's call it Musically
It's a listen and get paid, You get paid 1k for 10 albums. It Will be a way of improving the minds of Nigerian youths Get them to listen to albums
Listen and get paid in Ren coins which they can convert to normal cash .
They could listen after school and in the weekend, improving their minds, rather than tapping Their screen mindlessly with those fake mining

Harnessing the Methane

There's a business in harnessing the methane in the drainage systems.
A business idea waiting and could generate millions is to get a tiny pipe at hot zones of the gutter and suck out to the methane to a location of your choosing refining the gas and selling cooking gas free of cost.
Pay houses maybe 5k and suck the methane out of their sewers and cover it back for them
Or keep a pipe conduit ready, especially in University hostels
You could even set this pipe and seal drainage to protect against any escape and mine Nigerian biggest raw material right under their feet.

Hourly Employment/Payment style:

The Nigerian employment style is not dynamic at all and as greedy as some Employers they can't see the workforce available to them and how to use it for their advantage.
Are you are Employer why not try the Hourly shift student part time
It gives student the needed work and life experience.
Basically I trying to teach you guys how to really pay less for labour but it will help with the unemployment situation alright
If you stay in your work place till 3pm and have to go prepare dinner or go somewhere you could employ a student pay 3-6pm at 500 per hour that's 20k per month for a secondary student that's plenty pocket money.
Just as long as you don't enslave them or make them do hard labour.
You could employ 2 - 3 students for less than the minimum wage.
If you do a shift style of one employer from 9-3 of 500 per hour then you pay 2.5k per day and 40k per month and the student take over and your total expenditure on salary is 60k per month which is less than minimum wage for you which I feel is sustainable and also you get to employ more people.
It give your employees freedom to chase other callings and can schedule when they are going to be free, people who will work for you will be less inclined to steal as they don't spend enough time in a place and can other jobs in the interim.
These style give structure and respect to both Employee and Employer, you work you get your pay, plan with what you earn, cut your coat according to your cloth, and life become seamless.
