Manchester City's Phil Foden has been named the 2023/2024 Premier League Player of the Season.

The 23-year-old who won the Young Player of the Season Award in 2022 has scored 17 goals and contributed 8 assists in 34 matches this season.

The Englishman makes it 5 in a row for Manchester City winning the Player of the Season awards after Kevin de Bruyne (2019/20, 2021/22), Ruben Dias (2020/21), and Erling Haaland (2022/2023).

What a week! So honoured to receive these prestigious awards! Thank you to everyone who voted for me, to the City staff and coaches, my family and of course, my teammates. I’m delighted with the way I’ve played so far this season and it wouldn’t have been possible without those around me 🩵

Chelsea's Cole Palmer also grabbed the Young Player of the Season Award.

Perfect... Both are related to Manchester City.

I have two questions:

If Chelsea had been in contention for the league, Cole Palmer would have been a strong overall contender and not just for young player.

Foden will be 24 in two weeks. Palmer is 22. And this is his break out season.

This is the only thing "Chelsea" has won or can even win this season...allow us to enjoy it. Arsenal is used to not winning anything.
