Hello there, I'm nigerian but born and raised in Kenya and East Africa. My degree is Ugandan and work experience Kenyan. I'm relocating to nigeria and currently looking for work wondering if I'll have to do nysc also? I've never stepped foot there and I'd like some guidance. I'm 26

How will it affect my chances of getting a job

NYSC is not compulsory, you can apply for an exemption certificate but you're still of age. If you're still interested in taking part in NYSC, you can visit their website nysc.gog.ng to find out how you can get mobilized as a graduate of a foreign university.

Thanks, it says exemptions are only for people who are in the military, nigerian missions and people who got their first degree at 30 and above sadly

You can ask your university to send NYSC evaluation letter which is to confirm you truly graduated from the higher institution you claim to attend

Dear brother, please find good job in Kenya or Uganda. I know you are a Nigerian, but Nigeria is no longer safe. So consider your safety, many things have led to short life span of Nigerians, bad roads, illiterate drivers everywhere, kidnappers, robbers and in this Era it's hard to trust any Nigerian. Moreso, getting good job in Nigeria nowadays is hard, ask those that have graduated since.

As long they have Nigerian citizenship and want to work in Nigeria.
