Religion is not the only problem...there is an embezzlement and entitlement culture among the ruling class..
..irrespective of religion, whoever get there just steals at the expense of the citizens ...

it started with the military and it has passed to the democratic rulers which are a mixture of same old military and family of these military and their associate

i think it doesnt matter whether tribe/religion is in the way of common sense... but the reality is that GREED/MAFIA TACTICS has a part to do with the downfall of Africa. the majority of the yeye presdos are either A) elected by the people, knowing fully well that these yeye presidos are working for the same mafia that looted the country in the past (thus simply recycling the same nonsense over and over)... and these political mafias only work for their own pockets OR B) they are elected thanks to some 3rd party international elements that helps them get in power (through corrupt means) and thereafter dictate what they should do as president... and its always beneficial to these international elements FIRST, never the black population... and sadly, so many are willing to sell your destiny for a few billions $$$$ gift. do you think its just coincidence that all the past presidents come out of their presidency with a personal fortune in the BILLIONS OF DOLLARS?!?!

but who are we kidding, is it not the exact same thing that happens everywhere else? you think Obama was running the country? he was just a puppet put in place by these political mafias to get the black votes. he did absolutely nothing for black people. Nigeria is a zoo but if you give Nigeria the right leaders and the same amount of money that the US borrowed aka 34trillions (aka their national debts) then Nigeria would also be as beautiful and functioning as the US
