It was a case of different strokes for different folks on Tuesday in Abuja, the nation's capital, as residents treated themselves to free beers when a truck loaded with beer fell over a few metres away from the popular Berger roundabout. The incident happened at about 4 pm along Mabushi and Berger expressway. The truck veered off the road as the driver lost control. Saw this yesterday. They actually caused gridlock on that mabushi interchange road. Saw many dispatch riders drunk at the scene with their bikes parked by the road side. On getting to Berger Roundabout, I saw 2 men with 4 cretes of beer each that they stole from the fallen brewery truck. |
