Which nonsense poor preseason? Facts is potter was immature for the job and didn't get the right profiles for own project nor were the board willing to wait that long till he finally got it right and we're about to do the same mistake with McKenna.

Who's the coach you want to take over at Chelsea?

Did you remember klopp 2015 where Liverpool finished 8th or so. Klopp seemed to have tried a thousand different things, may be one reason they lost that final that started making some compare him to bottler Poch, but thank God he won Europa league abi.

Come o klopp is a legend after a decade winning just 1 EPL and 1UCL and 1europa abi.

Now McKenna may fail or may succeed but who are you to call it a mistake already, a seer or what. Calm down.

For now McKenna has a high win percentage with an average club among the championship that's my point. I had to read and listen to those who know Ipswich town FC, to understand why McKenna is rated for the work he did there.

Managers who were good footballers have a certain advantage in managerial market, but for some, like Sarri, it's their work that speaks for them.

It's not like McKenna is new to English football self
I doubt you've even watched up to two Ipswich games this season. Imagine comparing klopp to McKenna. Imagine comparing the fvcking championship to the premier league. Championship that the winners leceister almost bottled a 13 point lead, Leeds almost lost the playoffs even your McKenna went on an inconsistent run towards the conclusion of the season before the team picked itself up. Even the real madrid you normally leave us to run to by mid season won't be stupid enough to appoint a coach from the second division instantly even if he wins everybody.

If we can't get an experienced coach who's tested and tried in the top five leagues or Europe then there was no need falling out with pochettino especially as his contract expired next season.
This is Chelsea not Brighton.

Funny how people rate hansi flick because he managed a prime Bayern Munich side in 86 games... Just 86 games and won sextuplets and then he left.

Where's the experience?

Pochettino is gone already so we must accept our fate with the new manager

Fingers crossed, we will know if Barcelona wins la Liga next season against real Madrid.

Xavi first season might be better than flick, at the end everyone is gambling.

Flick was assistant coach for over 10 years in different leagues and was with Germany when they won the world cup in 2014. I think somebody was their coach before he was employed why didn't he win with that prime bayern Munich team?

never said I did, I categorical said I read about the club.
Leicester bottled a lead, their manager Enzo didn't get manager of the year like Kompany did. That's his business. It's not today clubs started bottling lead but to sneak in poor run of form into this your agenda is wilddd.

If you understood what I wrote, I wasn't comparing the two divisions but seeing the possibility that a manager new to league could do well in it, new to championship which by the way has ex EPL teams in it, and do well. It's been over a decade a club did a double promotion from league 1 and jumped to EPL and Southampton did relatively well in EPL because of that foundation but even Southampton rise is lesser compared to McKenna pulled off with Ipswich town. Guy Ipswich town FC. You take an average league one team to EPL within 3seasons with a high win ratio.

See eh, let me help you. When a primary 3 kid scored at least 95 in all his exams. Why not try this kid with primary 4 work, and the child does a 94% average.

Won't you be thinking what if I prepared this child for common entrance

Not because it's what happens but because you feel there must be something special about that child.

When someone does something that isn't common, it's common sense to respect the person. That 7yr old kid in primary 3 may turn to an A student in Jss1 even though both are two different worlds.

You give vague answers when we question you about the ineffectiveness of Jackson and sterling so I think you're the right person to be telling me this. You seem to love mediocrity though.

Once Ikenna is out of the radar, the club is still chasing Mescera something from Leicester and Thomas Frank.

With rumors they are eyeing Stuggart coach as well.

Arteta was not even appointed until December (4 months already into the season). Yet, he finished the season with a trophy .

Exploits in the Championship cheesy cheesy cheesy. You are not serious o

It's doesn't change the fact that Lampard was better than Arteta at one point. I think that answers your question.

That was never disputed . He won a trophy in less than a year in charge and that bought him extra time .

Lampard on the other hand lost finals and didn’t do much to improve the lot of the team when the transfer ban was lifted after he made signings .

Lampard was a great player no doubt, but there’s nothing to write home about his managerial career thus far especially when u pitch it against Arteta’s

It doesn't negate the fact that Lampard was better than Arteta at one point.

That primary 3 kid that scored at least 95 in all his exams would fail woefully If he doesn't know anything about the primary 4 work he's going to be tested with because it's higher than his level.
We and Ipswich have different ambitions based on our achievements over the years. We are expected to win or put in top performances almost every season in every competition we participate in. We will play ulokpa next season if apari wins fa cup we have been successful in that tournament do you think Chelsea fans would spare McKenna if we don't perform well there? Next year we are going to play in the club world cup would you say you want a terrible performance because we have a relatively young coach?
These clowns we have as owners are probably looking at Xabi Alonso and a puppet to control forgetting that Alonso apart from getting experience with real madrid and real socidedad academies also played and learnt under Mourinho, ancelotti and apari, I don't know if I'm right but I think he was getting his coaching license while playing. The point is McKenna has potential but now is not the time for him to step up to a big and demanding club like Chelsea or manyoo. Rant over.

The Stuttgart coach that rejected Bayern or which one? Even though Sebastian has history with Bayern he rejected them, D dude hasn't even coached outside Germany yet he is to come here and become the it.

Abi u think say EPL na bundesliga... I hear he has great tactics, and I wonder how he was was when he managed Hoffenheim. He may have been a better fit for us, if he wanted to leave that is. But he doesn't, by the way he was sacked by Hoffenheim.

Then Amorim, honestly since 2022, not actually sure how serious Chelsea are with getting him, Amorim, Amorim, okay not a one season wonder like Seb. Hoe but a great manager and my first choice.

The issue is, do we have a squad that suits his style?

Arsenal sacked Emery after 18 months at Arsenal. Guess what? Lampard was also sacked after 18 months at Chelsea obviously for the same reason Arsenal sacked Emery.

Only the pressure to coach big teams is enough to see that Ikenna is most likely to choke in 3 months.

Primary 5 ko, Primary 4 ni.

Alonso exceeded all expectations. If he had finished 4th without any trophy, his board wouldn't chop his head off.

Potter was wonderful till he came to the bridge.

He should go and take small heat from Brighton fess.

first off, you're stubbornly refusing and change the ideology i shared with you. I said the child passed the 4th year, then you change it that he will fail if he doesn't know anything about it.

First off, do you think those of us who get As don't read, do you think he will take a grade higher exam without actually reading and preparing for it, even without been taught. Common, don't play dumb

Your very statement it's not time for him to step up is why I gave you that analogy. You can either believe in the kid or you don't. And just like you don't you won't try because you don't even want to believe they can do it.

Amorim that's my first choice may come here to Chelsea and fail, it won't be the first time a top manager fails at another club and league. If McKenna fails, there is Amorim who doesn't seem willing to leave sporting CP yet, maybe because of UCL football, who knows.

No matter what Xabi has made a name for himself and his next club may be Madrid. I can remember when Madrid hired Zidane it was crazy but it worked out very. 3UCLs back to back. You never know what could happen with McKenna

lol same reason, chelsea won UCL, arsenal won FA can't see the same reason o. One got a manager they felt was available so fire the one they had. One fired the one they had because he was failing and got what they felt was available.
