Now this is over, the next move from the Kano house of assembly is to make sure that EFCC pick gandollar up and lock him up in prison and throw the key into the ocean, for abused of power and other atrocities he has committed in Kano

Governors should not be involved in the affairs of kings and other royal matters. Gandugje messed up with that move.

In 1984, General Muhammadu Buhari suspended the Ooni of Ife and Emir of Kano for six months for travelling to Israel after Nigeria had diplomatic problems with Israel; Buhari was kicked out of power the following year and locked up that he could not attend his mother's funeral who had passed away while he was detained.

In 1996, General Sani Abacha had Sultan Dasuki deposed, and Abacha died mysteriously two years after. Dasuki lived for 18 years more after.

In 1998-1999, Navy Captain Anthony Ibe Onyearugbulem, then Edo State governor, suspended Oba of Benin, Oba Erediawa, as chairman of Edo State Traditional Rulers Council. Onyearugbulem died mysteriously two years after.

I am not saying the deaths or misfortune they suffered are linked in anyway, just making an observation.

I strongly advise politicians to avoid playing with traditional institutions. Ganduje deposed Sanusi, Abba Kabir Yusuf deposed Ado Bayero.

Did any of them win the election to be Emir? Do both of them love the Kanawa? Did they do these things to massage their ego?
