Yesterday, British Prime Minister, Rishii Sunak, called a press conference in front of his official residence, 10 Downing Street. However, barely two minutes into his address, the rains came down. While the press covered him from a shaded area, the Prime minister refused to cancel the press conference on account of the rain. For several minutes the rain beat down on him, completely drenching the man. After his address, he went in to change his cloths and returned to his office

He announced that the UK would hold general elections in July

I like the guy, and hope he wins, but I must admit that this is all for show. So weather forecast couldn't predict a rainfall for that day. It wasn't set on stone that the conference must continue, so what's stopping them from postponing it to another time

The setup of UK and NIgeria is very different.
UK is basically a monarchy/dictatorship.
UK monarchy started since 1066AD, That is 958 years ago.
What you see as Prime minister is just a representative of the people ALLOWED by the king/queen to
govern daily affairs. So he's still accountable to the monarch.
Hence all the goody-goody behaviour.
Their currency always carries the face of the reigning king or queen. Not any f**king politician.
The Prime minister will rather relinquish power than be accused of making himself a king, or enriching himself
or performing any action that will make the monarch to look bad!
Nigeria has 1000 monarchs UNDER Federal government.
Why won't the President behave anyhow he likes. He answers to nobody.
