China completely blockaded Taiwan with warships during the "Joint Sword 2024" exercise today

This is how it would look realistically if a conflict broke out between the island and the mainland China.

There will be a total naval blockade with submarines, and closed skies with China's air defense systems.

Unfortunately, Taiwan does not have Poland and Romania on its borders like Ukraine, so that weapons can flow freely inside. Everything will be over in a couple of months.

That is why China conducts such exercises and not "attack" exercises.

You people just open mouth to talk without considering all the facts. USA will be very much involved even to the points of boots on ground, if China is self-destructive enough to attack Taiwan.
Taiwan manufactures Chips from rare earth metals which are used from everything ranging from Cars, to missile guidance systems, computers and other electronics.
Imagine China which is hostile to the west claiming such technology from Taiwan who are the only ones in the World with ability to make such. Will USA allow itself to be at it's mercy.
Where it not for that Taiwan would have long been persona non grata. The island nature has no natural resources, industries or strategic importance that should make USA give a fvck.

Know your facts and know understanding. Chips are not made from rare earth metals, chips are made from semiconductor, the raw material which is silicon is the second most abundant material on Earth.

The technology in making the advance chips is what China lacks but there has been great improvement recorded so far. China is closing up on the US in all angles of technological advancement.
