An Indian school in Lagos refusing admission to Nigerians students has been threatened to shut down by the governor of Lagos Nigeria. There are many Indian living in Nigeria especially Lagos state. Indians in Nigeria have created an Indian community that has schools and many other businesses.
But the Nigerian government has insisted that the Indian schools must obey Nigerian laws

Wetin Nigeria wan do for Indian school. Just make sure the school is legit and not hiding anything

The Indian school should be closed down immediately and not limit to Indians only. It should includes Chinese and Lebanese schools, and these Arabs nationality. Therefore federal government should stop approving citizenship to these foreigners except those born in Nigeria.

And when Nigerian kids who get admitted into the Indian school, get taught about Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism etc, taught and made to behave in the culturally appropriate ways of the Indians...some Nigerians will still scream that they are brainwashing their children!

By the way the school is India Language school, the children are not taught in English but in their language, is any Nigerian really trying to enroll their kids in a school where they will be instructed in hindu and taught the ways and cultures of India?

I'm not supporting the Indian school. I don't just feel a Nigerian should take his or her child to a school where almost all the pupils are indians and Hindi is mostly use to teach in th school. The kid won't feel among.

Misplaced priority. LASG should improve their curriculum and get motivated teachers. Forget about the Indian school.

There shouldn’t be any room for such in Nigeria. There is no guarantee that the discrimination would stop even they start admitting Nigerian kids. Non Indians would be treated unfairly.

This is Nigeria . Irrespective of Indian norms ....there are rule that governance all private schools in the country ....our law is supreme ....to any individual, institution, or company
