This is a great question and will be resolved by the clear delineation of the respective jurisdictions of the state and federal police forces in the relevant legislation just as obtains in the USA (where there is even county [LGA] police).

Anybody on the side of justice can never like Sanusi over Bayero because Bayero is the rightfully nominated heir to that throne by the kano kingmakers but then Sanusi was "politically" installed to spite Goodluck Jonathan for removing him as CBN Governor (the first time that that ever happened in Nigeria).

Since Sanusi was politically dethroned by "Buhari" who was part of the people behind the scene who facitated his enthronement unfairly to Bayero he cannot use "Tinubu" to get back to the throne through the that same illegal back door.

If Sanusi was sure of his right to that throne at that time he would not have left the Palace or Kano even if he had to shed the blood of his ancestors flowing in him and it is that blood flowing in his vein that made Bayero to come back to Kano despite threats from cowards who plot his dethronment while he was out of town.

I'm on the side of Justice even if that makes me a miscreant even though i have nothing to do with me being a part of my tribe, I choose to be on the side of justice.

You're right. Bayero was the choice of the kingmakers before kwankwaso gave it to Sanusi.

The end game would be interesting.

Obviously, peace left Kano State when Kwankwaso, Shekarau and Ganduje started fighting. Shekarau is out of the fight after Kwankwaso humiliated him in NNPP.

The solution would be to end the dominance of the other two behemoth.

Kano politicians are always very strong. From Aminu Kano to Abubakar Rimi. The current two need to be weeded out as their actions are retrogressive for peace and progress of Kano.

I still insist Sanusi should not have accepted to return. The rightful claimant to the throne is Sanusi Ado Bayero as he was chosen by the kingmakers. He should be given the right to say his brother should continue or Sanusi should be brought back. Him and not any politician.

And Sanusi will also say he is reclaiming his grandfather stool
