This is just overt sentiments. Nigeria is not the only country having army and military
personnel and the reason "these" issues keep happening is because of institutional flaw and their overzealousness to act outside their mandate. No matter their sacrifice if they did not reorganise their intervention on civil matters it will always lead to stuffs like this because it's just a survival instinct to human. Can American soldier follow his brethren to resolve purchase issues even if his brother is cheated? Can any civilised country soldier intimidate a civilian simply because he was putting on an army uniform? Yet Americans have the most infantry personnel that has laid down their lives for the country. The point is because you are a soldier or military doesn't give you any special privileges than any other citizens because soldiers are first citizens before being a military.

The truth is if Nigeria military doesn't stop all the bragadacio of leaving civil matters to police and keep interfering in any civil dispute just to intimidate. It's only matter of time these issues will keep proping up. Nigeria military should first of all reorientate and organised personnels to always be in good conduct manner only then they can come and demand respect from the citizens for their sacrifices anything other than that it's just treating of stem cause.

What is the correlation between Northern Nigeria and former army chiefs owning properties. Are all the retired army chiefs Northerners? And even at that what law stops them from owning good properties.
