Why are almost all of our Northern traditional rulers Fulanis?

Why is it so difficult to find Hausa traditional rulers in these prominent historical positions?

Usman Danfodio truly left his mark there.

To whasppaping.
Hausa kingdoms were colonized by Fulani settlers, hence, the Fulanis are the rulers all over Northern Nigeria.

We are told 5 Hausa Kingdoms resisted and Continue to Have Hausa Rulers till Today

1. Suleja in Niger State were the former Hausa Rulers of Zaria

2.Daura -- Daura was to the Hausa what Ile Ife was to the Yoruba, the Cradle and Source of the Hausa Race , they were absolutely not having Usman Dan Fodio's Jihad and Continued to resist until the British arrived and reinstated them

3 . Gobir---- Gobir were the real strong Hausa Warriors and Kingdom ,they also happened to be relatives of the Yorubas ,
We are told that all of Hausaland went down only because Gobir went down

4.Argungu

5. Ningi

-whoever knows the history of the last two Hausa Kingdoms still Standing should please tell us

The Kanuri were colonised for 10 years by the Dan Fodio's Jihad before kicking them all out with much anger and tremendous Swagger
We hear there was a massive blood bath before what was left of the Jihad fled Borno

Simple. The stupidity of the hausas made them lose everything except their language to those futa jalon immigrants.

Hausa's are the most foolish people on earth. For allowing fulanis from far away sahara desert to come in, subdue and dominate you. Even other small tribes like Tiv, Langtang, Angas, Zulu, Idoma, Igala, Birom, Kataf, etc in the North were able the fight off those terrorists.

There is still a Gobir Kingdom
Most of it is in Niger

Bawa family are still their Rulers

The Gobir are Relatives of the Yorubas and we have similar War strategies for example when Old Oyo fell ,the Next Alaafin moved to New Oyo and Continued Ruling the Oyo kingdom from there
A big part of Niger Republic is Gobir territory and the Bawa Royal family continues to rule their Hausa people from Sabon Birni which is in Sokoto State on the Border with Niger

Never underestimate the Hausa
The Songhai Empire subdued and ruled them for about 200 years or so and they still made a huge Comeback

It depends on their mood
At the moment they are not sounding very happy
especially after what the bandits put them through

Not Niger State but mostly Niger Republic

It was the Zaria Hausa Rulers that moved to Suleja in Niger State

They were at the verge of overthrowing the Fulani before the British came and scammed them. The Hausa constabulary which later became Nigerian army were fighting against Fulani rulership. British agreed with them for a peaceful surrender so that the British can help them remove the Fulani rulers, only for the British to sign agreement for the Fulani rulers to continue through indirect rule
