Passion and she can still work remotely from Nigeria, earning her dollars.

I will still relocate back to Nigeria in the future from the UK and still earn in Pounds while working remotely from Nigeria, it is not a downgrade but being location independent.

I doubt any company will hire you in Nigeria working remotely as a cyber security expert owing to laws and regulations attached to the position from GDPR to NIST standards, PCIDSS if you are a card processing company or ISO-27001 which is the standard.

This is always my fears about all these beautiful courses like Buiness Analysis, Project Management and Cyber Security. Would we get their remote jobs in Nigeria ?

Information security is one of the many aspects of Cyber Security. So she is a CS analyst.

Also, she knew that, as a beautiful woman, she could earn enormous sums of money from our politicians and some moneybag sugar daddies here in Nigeria than working 9 to 5 job as cybersecurity analyst in the U.S.

Those courses are good if you are planning to leave Nigeria, but no chance of getting hired if you intend to work from here, at least not by a foreign company. All these courses, Cybersecurity, Data Analyst, DevOps, SRE which is a subset of DevOps, have roles that requires you to handle PIIs(Personal Identifiable Information) and these laws and standards require that those who will handle them must be domiciled in the same country/continent.

That's why it's easier to get a software developer job as you mostly will be working in a Dev environment and using test data and not real customer data.

They are all coming back because the Nigerian movie scene is about to explode like the music industry. They now have better stories and the technology. It can still be better with more funding though!!

I guess as much... She need the attention that her affluence can give her in the Nollywood. She needs the followers so she can make cool money from social media jackpot. If medical doctors in the same USA can be moving a into social media space who hell is one fucking cyber security expert. She made a mistake to have left the ovation stage and I guess she just accepted that fact.

We focus too much on the money...the salary she makes at CyperSecurity or Information Security can give her an above average life, but the money she will make in the movie industry in Nigeria will allow her to allow a whole different experience.

1. You work for others 1. You are your own Boss (at her level)
2. You answer to a Boss 2. People answer to you
3. You are just another staff in the office 3. You are a big time celebrity

5. Abroad is a leveler... 5. You rock with the who is who every weekend
6. Too busy paying bills 6. You can get into politics or even get Fed contracts
7. You work 12 months to pay bills 7. With a house already, 2 - 3 movies a year is enough
8. Might be a contract worker without stability 8. Experience will guarantee movies & television series
9. Always at the risk of being fired if something messes up 9. No fear based on her status
10. Everyone is too busy and you can only hand out on weekends 10. Movie set is fun and you can hang out all week long

So there are so many benefits to leaving US to return to Nigeria...she can use some of her funds to produce her own movies or even sign contracts with NetFlix. So much money in the entertainment industries in Nigeria now...even on Youtube, appearance fees for events and so on...you would not get these perks in the US...its work work work work work....till you drop dead dead dead. She is smart to make the change now. She can even hire a chef, eat good Naija food and have a full time maid...luxuries not easily affordable in the USA.
