The Courts (Fed & State) are of COORDINATE JURISDICTION, as it, Politics is what is been played here.
I see nothing serious save Tinubu, trying to use Kano state to distract people's focus and attention from his woeful performance in the last one year....
I am very well aware that they are of coordinate jurisdiction however which of these two courts have original exclusive jurisdiction to entertain matters of kingship and emirship, etc and is it true that there has been a judgment/ruling by one of those courts before now and if yes, was the decision appealed or overtaken by effluxion of time? Why are we then having a litany of conflicting decisions between both courts?

It's obvious without mentions that the State High Court has and enjoys original jurisdiction on chieftaincy and traditional related affairs.
Often times, jurisdictional drags are ways to delay and to water down the import of any case what so ever.
Again, we need not to be schooled on why the Fed High Court entertain this case at hand.
The rift or scuttle that brought in the Fed High Court is the place or role of Kano State House of Assembly. Mind you, the Fed High Court entertains issues involving the Executive and the House of Assemblies at State levels,,, ( sorry I did not make available the Constitutional provisions).
Hence the role played by the Fed High Court as necessitated by the situation in hand.
Be this as it may, I think our judiciary and courts need to be call to order. Two coordinate Courts must never go into drag on the same issue such as this.

You have addressed my issues in part and we are on all fours on what has transpired. They should just stop embarrassing my profession and as ministers in the temple of justice, we should stop making justice available to the highest bidder. We have become a laughing stock to even inconsequential entities.

Sanusi was unjustly removed from his throne.

The corrupt political administration in Kano, however, had their plans. They saw in Emir Ado Bayero a figure who would not stand against their corrupt practices.

Emir Ado Bayero could have spoken out against the injustice faced by Emir Sanusi, but his very selection as a replacement was due to his compliance with the corrupt powers that be. They could Balkanize the kingdom of his fathers all they want, so far they give him a title.

Yes, Emir Ado Bayero is a mere puppet, and he is still being manipulated by those who placed him on the throne. I repeat, even now the puppeteers continue to pull his strings. Initially, he was willing to step aside quietly, but the Ganduje corrupt establishment emboldened him to resist, even if it meant plunging Kano into chaos and inciting violence among brothers.

But Justice must be restored, and Emir Sanusi needed to be reinstated.

But the state governor in his quest to correct one injustice, should not commit another.

Instead of deposing Emir Ado Bayero, they could have invited him to abdicate.

In doing so, Ado Bayero would retire as Emir but retain his influence and dignity, not as a subordinate to Emir Sanusi but as an Emeritus Emir, and he would be revered throughout the state and across Nigeria.

He could have welcomed Emir Sanusi back to Kano and become a legend. But Ado Bayero, I repeat, is not in the business of care for the traditional institution of Kano nor its people; his concern is solely with power. And for that, those pulling his string can continue to reign most supreme.

If the strings of Emir Sanusi were so pulled by orchestrators of chaos , hoping to benefit from anarchy. This would have been an opportunity for Mustapha to rape Esther, and for the remaining churches in Kano to be burnt and for some corrupt security officials to make their billions. But of coz, Kano is not Sokoto or Zamfara and the strings of Emir Sanusi is not easily pulled.
good piece but nonsense ending

It troubles me alot to hear and read articles here and there of judges of courts ( particularly those of high courts ) sell / dole out injunctions and orders to highest bidders. The chief justice of the federation must endeavor to do an in - house cleaning in order to win back the confidence of Nigerians. Again, the judges ought always to understand that it is not for nothing their Chambers are reffered to as hallowed and not hollow. Justice without fear or favor is the game and not the disgrace we see up and down
