I was still a young child in this era.

Still, I remember when we see the egrets fly, we would sing "chekeleke give me white" to get white markings on our fingers.

I recall, rolling old tires down the street, playing "suwe" or flying kites.

You could be poor, but still afford good food to eat. Back then, you could travel on a night bus from lagos to maiduguri and nothing will happen.

How time flies in first class !!!

How time flies, those days when friends will help me with all my house chores so that I can allow them into our house to view Papa Ajasco on our hunchback black and white TV.

The echo from our parents then was go to school, get good grades, and get a good job. Rest on Mum and Dad, I missed you two.

I remember good old days.
Funny enough in our area then, some of these plays like suwe, rubber, flying kite,tennis, table soccer e.t.c...they all had seasons.

I've come across similar threads like these and it's obvious a lot of y'all live in your own bubbles, I was born in the 2000s and I know all these "ancient" fun givers. Matter of fact, there are still kids born after 2010 who know all of these.

I think you're mistaking "rich" for indomie.
