So changing to old national anthem would reduce the price of garri right?
But at least it will reduce the price of ponmo. Indiara

I have no issues with this anthem! I find both its melody and lyrics to be quite enjoyable.

We need musical artists to get to work right away. We need the rock, blues, pop, reggae, and Afrobeat versions.
Nice 👍

Hey ..!!!

People that continually tell you in OPEN defiance that they want their own country don't need a worthless anthem to reconfigure their need to exit that gathering of animals in that ZOO.

You are changing anthem when it's obvious you are losing the trust of the citizens via worthless policies and useless myopically placed tribalism and bigotry.

Miyetti Allah Boss, who formed a Vigilante after his members are recognised as killers of NIGERIANS in their homes and farms...is free.

Sunday IGBOHO that was also charged for the same crime also is walking free..

Nnamdi Kanu is in jail and held under dehumanizing conditions abi? ...and you want a useless anthem to foster unity?

You are not mentally ok...

Nonsense

Reflect7:
You don’t have to be a Nigerian.

You are welcome to LEAVE Nigeria.

We are not begging you to be part of Nigeria.

Understood?

There are 15 million Igbos in the north and 10 million in the west.

You clearly wish to eat from Nigeria’s wealth, so you MUST become a Nigerian.

Or you can all return to the south east and form your little republic.

You are either IN or you are OUT.

Exactly this is the reason ipob wants out you all care so much about politics little about governance

Supporting Buhari for 8 years already proved you know absolutely nothing about politics and governance... If you had any dignity you would never openly campaign for a candidate again
IPOB are terrorists and murderers. As a Yoruba, I wouldn’t have cared more about them until Kanu was abusing my tribe and asking his terrorists to burn down Lagos.

I don’t regret supporting Buhari, it is a democracy and it’s one man on vote. He got elected simply because more Nigerians voted him than those who vote against it. He campaigned on change, he came in and did not live up to expectation at the end. In life, nothing is 100% sure. We move on.

I campaigned for Tinubu because I believe he is the best candidate with the track record. Within a year, he implemented most of the things he mentioned in his manifesto. It is the same thing that policy analysts proposed for years as Nigeria breakthrough, but now that he implemented them, we have seen that those changes are hard on the populace.

He still has 3 more years to go, let’s see the final effect of his change on Nigerians and if by 2027 Nigerians see it is bad, they vote him out.

But you see that my one vote, I will never use it to vote the Agulu fraud Obi because he is an empty clown who have nothing upstairs. Everyman can promise to turn Nigeria to Paris, what you should ask is that, when he was governor, did he turned Anamabra to America?

Why should changing of national anthem be the priority considering what the country is currently going on?
Changing the national anthem will not affect the country negatively/positively from what we are currently going through.

It is just an optics thing. If I am the president, will I change it “NO”.

But Tinubu has now changed it and signed it into law, the time we are busy wasting on this can be expended to something else.

Regrets is useless in politics. What you should ask me is that “Did Buhari live up to my expectation”, and I will say No.

In all countries of the world, you have politicians table their manifesto and the populace vote them in. Then politicians fail to live up to the promise either based on the fact that true realities are different when they are in power or they are simply wicked or corrupt.

How then can you say I should regret when I only have but one vote. You’re talking as if I am a kingmaker, that just imposed Buhari on Nigerians.

If you are sooooooo incompatible, what are 15 million Igbos doing in NORTHERN NIGERIA?

What are 10 million Igbos doing in SOUTH WEST NIGERIA?

These are HUGE numbers.

In a truly incompatible contraption, you would have been driven out of those places DECADES ago.

Being a stupid hater of Yorubas in your house while trading, working, and clubbing with them outside doesn’t make you ‘incompatible’.

It just means you are an idiot.

If you can’t stand them, you should not be in their land.

You should be in Igboland with people whom you are ‘compatible’ with.

How can you come to my land and be eating my food, and then when we say let us unite and do big things, you say “no, we’re not compatible”.

Then get out and go back to your land!
You sounds so Fuuulish with all this trash you wrote up there.

Reasons (1) there are millions of Yorubas in East.
There are millions of Northerners in East.

(2) There are Cameroonians in south west and there are south west people in Cameroon.

Why are you not one country with them?

An Igbo hater like you should look in mirror to see who's the real hater.

But I don't know why fooools always think everyone is living south west.

If you call me idiot then you are mistaken me as your father.

Oh please shut the hell up, with your selective memory.

Voter intimidation was NATIONWIDE, and also happened in the East, as was reported by the Center for Democracy and Development CDD.

''The Center for Democracy and Development (CDD), a civil society organisation (CSO), says voter intimidation was recorded in Lagos, Anambra, and Imo during the general election.

In a statement on Tuesday, the CDD said it found that four key issues — operational challenges, violence, influence of money, and online falsehoods — shaped the electoral process.

It added that the intimidation recorded was linked to ethnic identity and political party affiliation.

“Intimidation, in many cases linked to identity or political party affiliation, was recorded across the country and was reported by 3.4% of observers. It was most commonplace in the northwest, south-south and southeast,” the statement reads.

“One instance of voter intimidation reported by an observer in Anambra state detailed how party agents were standing aside the voting cubicle directing voters as to how they should cast their ballot in full view of INEC ad-hoc staff.''

“For the most part conducted by political parties thugs or loosely affiliated individuals, some of the intimidation designed to suppress votes centred around ethnic identity.

“In Lagos, threats were made against Igbos by prominent political thugs like MC Oluomo. BVAS readers were also targeted in some parts of Imo and Anambra states. Without a reader, voting is unable to continue and although replacements were found, this tactic for voter suppression could become more widespread in the future.

“In Bayelsa state, polling in 141 units were postponed after they were disrupted by violence. Although they were to go ahead the following day, safety concerns could result in reduced turnout.”

This one is a character. Despite the fact that Fulani herdsmen are massacaring his people in Ondo, Ogun, Oyo and Ekiti, he had no qualms voting for a Fulani man called Buhari. He never has a bad word for the killer herdsmen, his problem is IPOB. His problem is Kanu and the words of Kanu. He has bigger problems with words than those actively killing his own people in their land.

We have no business being together in one country, the British should never have brought us together, we are not alike. That's why Nigeria will never work, no matter who is President. What we should be talking about is dissolving this failed British colonial contraption called Nigeria and going our seperate ways
