It is not only them been paid that is the annoying thing, do you know that they work 3 shift in a day. Some do morning, afternoon and Night shift. Do you know that they send them for training abroad for Refinery that are not functioning. They don't want to take clue from Eleme Refinery INDORAMA, which was sold to Indians and have been running since that time.

It was Yaradua, the man many nairalanders claim to be a super president, that cancelled Obj's sale of Port Harcourt.

I don't believe Obj found a buyer for Warri and Kaduna port Harcourt.

In today's world, nobody will buy a moribund refinery, so Mr Buhari's government was right to pay for the refurbishment of Port Harcourt, and may be Warri. They have to be refurbished and be seen to be working before any company will buy them.

As for Kaduna, unless crude oil is found in substantial quantity in the North, the refinery is never going to be viable - pumping crude oil there all the way from the South will be a nightmare. Pipeline vandals will thwart such endeavour.

Refining heavy crude oil also has its advantages. You can get high yield of the heavier fractions such as: lubricating oil, wax, asphalt, etc.
