assholemods:Who choose am? Nigerians called for entries from everywhere with prize attached. It's not like she forced it on you, it was by merit. She won the best written anthem as determined by Nigerian panelists. Learn. |

AviatorMoney:It is simple, short, yet says it all, and it starts with the name of the country. The anthem is simply genius. I think it is the best anthem of any country in the world. Even the music is very commanding and uplifting. It was arrived at after WORLD-WIDE competition. That’s what you get when you minus corruption, tribalism, and nepotism, and arrive at things by merit! |

DaddyCoool:I'm no where around Nigeria,so i give little or no f:ck. But as a Nigerian I'm and always proud to be. I ask your personal opinion... Do u see this as wat was really important at the moment?? |

adebayo201:Truth is, both National anthems and the pledge can solve all the problems in our country if only we abide by the tenets in the lyrics. I see what the government is trying to do here. It will take more than playing and tweaking the psychology of Nigerians to get there. |

A misplaced priority, I had never seen a government that is so insesitive and callous to the primary needs of its citizens |

While cry baby adults are complaining, sensible children are chorusing the new national anthem. They sang it both joyfully and melodiously. Nigeria shall rise again in Jesus Name. Amen. |

AviatorMoney: GABRIEL6036:It is EXTREMELY important. Especially at a time like this. It is uplifting, hope-giving, and all positive. Those are crucial things to have when things are tough |

[quote author=adebayo201 post=130216821]After seeing the video and hearing the recitation, a basket of tomatoes is now 15,000, petrol now sells for ₦250/litre, light has been consistent, workers are now bring paid in dollars. God bless Nigeria, God bless You. [lazy youths wish to wake up one morning and see money full his room. But the industrious youths know the realities of life.] |

Juoflife1:Nothing to learn. It’s soo simple, which is part of It’s genius. Here: Nigeria we hail thee Our own dear native land Though tribes and tongue may differ In brotherhood we stand Nigerians all, and proud to serve Our sovereign Motherland. O God of all creation, Grant this our one request, Help us to build a nation Where no man is oppressed, And so with peace and plenty Nigeria may be blessed. |
