Everyone should just create their own Anthem as it best suits them, because there is no justice anywhere. How can you believe and promote what you do not practice?

Go and ask Tinubu, whose personal agenda is more important than national patriotism.

That's how he will wake up one day and say he doesn't like the flag that we should go back to the Union Jack and rubber stamp NASS go gree
It's more than a personal agenda. It was agreed on in 2014 confab but not implemented by GEJ then. DO you even know what 2014 confab was? All these children.

The old anthem is gone till further notice but the national pledge stands.
You mind explaining why the pledge would stand when you enforce an anthem composed by a foreigner on a sovereign nation? If you choose to be disloyal, you cannot be blamed.

The old National Anthem is both National Anthem and a pledge in one. Two in one. Listen to it.

How? The second stanza of the anthem has always been a guide to me.
O God of creation, direct our noble cause.
Direct our leaders right, help our youth the truth to know...
So our leaders no longer need God's direction ? wink

They were never together in the first place. The pledge was composed by someone else. The pledge isn't a continuation of an anthem
Re: Will The Old New National Anthem Affect The National Pledge? by udomonday: 8:51pm On May 30, 2024
The national pledge does not matter because to serve Nigeria is not by force,to be faithful, loyal and honest is not for a typical Nigerian politician.

One step at a time. BTW, he's achieved petroleum industry bill and allowing states and private companies to generate power/electricity. That's a very big deal that previous governments could not do. Give credit where credit is due instead of being an ingrate.
