I think the key here is that verdict had to be unanimous. So, 12 people that Trump's defense team helped pick, heard the evidence and found him guilty in less than 1 day.

It can't be understated they did their civic duty with the understanding they would most likely be targeted.

Trump just needed 1 juror. Not 1 of the 12 Jury members the defense helped select thought he was not guilty. Lawyers, Business People, Engineers, teachers, Men and Women. Not 1.

Sympathy for? It was a jury trial. All 12 random people chosen with input from Trump's lawyers heard the evidence and found him guilty.

Let's not forget that Trumps former lawyer, Michael Cohen had gone to prison for the same crime Trump is being accused of. This was even when Trump was still president. Trump was declared to be an unindicted co-conspirator in that case(legal documents of the case referred to him as individual 1). The policy of the DOJ not to prosecute a sitting president was what made Trump skate. His. DOJ under Bill Barr started this case.

The talk of a witch hunt is a lie. This case is purely domiciled in New York where the US justic department has no say. Trump roll certainly appeal but his appeals will all stop at New York because it is purely a state matter.

Trump boasted to his fellow golfers that he slept with Daniels. His friend David Parker helped Trump bury the news. Trump kept making payments to conceal the information of him sleeping around from coming out. He was doing all these while he was still president.

Whether this will help him in November or not remains to be seen.

And? Manhattan is the finance home of the world. Has the top finance companies and so attracts the top finance talent. Because of that it has the top service companies there as well (law firms, it security, etc). So attracts top very educated talent there. Your argument is that those people are so stupid they are easily manipulated?

Back to the makeup of Manhatten, 86% voted for Biden, 12% voted for Trump. So in a juror of 12, if you transpose those numbers, there would be maybe 2 people who voted for Trump on that Juror. Juries need to be unanimous. You only need 1 juror for a hung jury. Here, all 12 people thought he was guilty.
Juries try to do a fair job. Trump's attorneys had the ability to get rid of jurors they didn't like. Your argument makes little sense.
