DaddyCoool:It is a settled law enforcement mechanism to use rack and file drug dealers to get their boss at the top or if you want to get a Mobster gang leader, his associations who themselves are guilty do testify against their boss.....in fact their are murder cases where the person who pulled the trigger are letter off the hook if they testify and help convict the person that sent them on errand. In the case of Cohen, he have already served jail time for his crimes, so he does not have any incentive from the DA to lie, plus his testimony are collaborated by evidence. Plus, 12 different people from different walk of life sat in that court room, they heard the testimonies that none of heard, they saw evidence that none of saw, they were able to see, evaluate at close range all the testifiers....and at the end of the day all 12 of them voted to convict Trump. Trump's Defense team had the simplest of task, just sow a seed of doubt in just one jury's mind but they could not. |

TallDarkMan:Lies? that Biden as a VP and Senator has no right to put classified documents at his garage for decades? Return it yes because he has no power to declassify documents - as a Senator or VP, Trump was President and what he says is declassified is declassified - thats why Bill Clinton took his own classified documents home and the heavens did not fall because he was President, Biden wasnt at the time- so know the difference Mr. Linus |

Somilat:In theory. Even minions take initiative. So Don Carrasco asks Siquentes to kill off Jimi snake eye. Siquentes does this but robs Velotti's shop, violates Cabbi's 17 year old daughter, tortures Snake eye Jr before torching their home down. I think Don Carrasco might get a heavy sentence, yet unlikely as much as Siquentes. |

kingxsamz:Your first line here shows why you and your likes have permitted a certain criminal called Emilokan to rule over your a ss in Nigeria The Supreme court of Nigeria says Tinubu won and failed to admit a host of evidence to show he is a forger, liar and narco dealer, never won the FCT, never won in Rivers, IREV turned off, voters intimidation evidence, security operatives rigging election in broad daylight and for sure, the compromised supreme court gave a verdict to uphold his presidency- so that judgement so makes it right abi? You reason with your anus and people like you are the very reason why Nigeria has gone down drain so if dem no catch Anini, he was never a thief ? you sound intelligent right? bloody as s s h. ole |

ogbonti:Most of this is wrong. I assume you get your info from Right Wing Sources. Go read the full report. Presidents can decalissify records by deeming them so as the President controls the Executive branch. But there are records that can't be declassified like nuclear secrets. But that ability ends the minute a new President is sworn into office. There is no evidence Trump declassified the info in his home before he left office. In fact there is evidence he knew they were classified and still shared them with other people. (there is a recording of him saying he shouldn't be sharing a document he shared). Even still, to go further Presidents only own notes they take. They deem those notes personal records. What Clinton had were those such notes. What Biden had in his home were mostly those such notes. What Trump had in his house were actual classified documents that he had no right to that the Federal Government owned. Trump had things like nuclear secrets. He has no ownership of them. (ex. Trump could declassify a report on Aliens. But the actual report is still the property of the Fed. Government. He doesn't own them) And when the government came calling to get them back with a court ordered subpoena/search warrant. He hid them and lied about having them and told others to lie about them. That is the difference between Trump and Biden. Intent, is the difference. By lying and not returning them when asked, Trump's intent was to steal or keep the documents. Biden may have packed them by mistake, but when he found them he called the Government and allowed the government to come search for them. |

Mrexcell:Yes. There are only 3 restrictions for being President. 1.) Be a natural-born citizen of the United States 2.) Be at least 35 years old 3.) Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years |

adioolayi:In Nigeria it can't even happen because ethnicity, religiosity and sectionalism have blinded our inner conscience that patriotism has been relegated to the ground. Invitation of ex president for questioning alone is a big deal in our country, let alone prosecuting ex president. His people will rise to defence of him and see it as religion or ethnic witch-hunt. |

LeeSmart:Please do you know what American law says on someone already on trial to vying for a post? We are talking of a sentence and no more an accused person. Their laws may be different from ours my brother. Even though he has leverage to appeal the sentence but does their permits such person to be voted for? |

ogbonti:What is the inflation like in Nigeria? In other parts of the world? The US does have inflation, but it is better than most countries and the US has come out of the pandemic economically better than any country. This amnesia is weird, 4 years ago, you would be lucky if you could find eggs or toilet papers in the stores. Car prices were outrageous and gas prices were low because no-one was driving. The unemployment rate was double. What policy would Trump propose that would help anything? This nonsense magical amnesia is amazing. It's powered by the amount of propaganda the right wind puts out. |

linearity:You can stay in your bubble and pretend everything that happened was done above board. Experience have taught me over the years of following US politics is that its a waste of time arguing on Trump related matter with partisans on the left and right and those who are caught up with the "Trump is Hitler" bug. Let's see how it goes after the appeal. The only thing I will correct is the error I made writing FECA instead of FEC. |
