Atiku Condemns Killing Of Soldiers In Abia By Terrorists Enforcing Sit At Home by LegendHero(op): 2:25pm On May 31, 2024
The violence that led to the killing of soldiers and civilians in Abia State on Thursday stands condemned. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who may have lost a loved one. May their souls rest in peace. But even more profound is the impact of yesterday's sit-at-home in the Southeast region of our country on students writing WAEC examinations.

The veil of the so-called Unknown Gun Men hiding under cover to unleash death and mayhem must be lifted to ensure that criminal elements are separated from legitimate agitators.

To this end, without prejudice to the ongoing legal processes, I think the time has come to explore a political resolution to the Nnamdi Kanu and other associated issues. I believe that this will diffuse the compressor cooker situation in the region. It will be a win-win for all parties. -AA

Wow, Atiku finally has a solution for the Southeast region, but only after violence and death? Typical politician, always late to the party and looking for a way to save face.

God bless you Mr Atiku. I think it's time to free nnamdi kanu. Political solution is the way to go. It might even boost the acceptability of the president in that region improve his scorecard. Just like Atiku said,A win-win situation for everyone

The title should be "Atiku recommends the release of kanu as solution to killing of soldiers". No where was the word "terrorist" used. Only your agbado brain created the word
Re: Atiku Condemns Killing Of Soldiers In Abia By Terrorists Enforcing Sit At Home by mrvitalis(m): 2:38pm On May 31, 2024
My own point is this... If you didn't talk or condemn killing of igbo youths during
1) python dance
2) obigbo massacre
3) orlu massacre
4) and other killings of unarmed youths demanding for Biafra ( which is a right)

You lack ever moral to talk now... What is happening now in the South East is directly linked to those killings... They are consequences of them

That said RIP to the dead

Lol Biafra agitation won't end with kanu release we both know that

Maybe restructuring to regional government and resources control would end it

Wow, what a great solution! Because clearly political resolutions have worked so well in the past for our country and its people.

My own point to this too.

If you don’t outrightly condemn the killing of soldiers by IPOB terrorists, don’t come and claim human right issue when soldiers level down the whole environment where this killers reside.

RIP (Rest in pieces) to those IPOB terrorists and their sympathizers about to die.

Political solution? That's not bad but in meantime, the military has got to stamp out evil anyway

Thank you Atiku, but once you negotiate with Kanu, then you will also have to negotiate with Simon Ekpa and the other factions as well. They want Biafra or Nothing.

Those hypocrites and terrorists lovers. They have gone deaf and dumb since it's happening in Alaibo grin

About two weeks ago, Arewa Youth forum asked Obi to condemn IPOB'S thread. He never did. I don't see him condemning this killings too. He is too tribal to preside over an ethnically diverse country like Nigeria.

Confirmedzombie:
We the Arewa youth Forum after an extraordinary executive meeting wishes to challenge His Excellency Peter Gringory Obi the presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 election to speak up and condemn the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) May 30th warning issued WAEC and Unizik.

We understand that WAEC examination is ongoing in all the states of the federation including some African countries.

Based on the WAEC Timetable availed to us, May 30th is General Mathematics.

We wonder how IPOB expects WAEC to shift the Examination for May 30th for celebration of Biafra day.

IPOB to our understanding are designates by the Federal Government as a Terrorist organisation and as such lacks the power to issue such warning.

We therefore challenge Peter Gringory Obi to speak out condemning the IPOB press release if indeed he is a patriot and supports one Nigeria.

Failure to condemn IPOB release, we may have no choice than conclude that Peter Gringory Obi is an Igbo agenda.

Re: Atiku Condemns Killing Of Soldiers In Abia By Terrorists Enforcing Sit At Home by opamoses1: 4:03pm On May 31, 2024
Waziri Atiku Abubakar has condemned the killing of three soldiers by unknown gunmen in the Southeast as the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra enforced a regional sit-at-home to mark the 57th anniversary of the declaration of the defunct rebel Republic of Biafra. But Peter Obi, who is from the Southeast and is quick to condemn killings in other regions, has still not spoken up. More than twenty four hours after the killings.

This is the normal practice with Obi. If it happens outside the Southeast, he will shout, cry and dance naked in public. But if it occurs within Igboland, he will be quiet.

Is Peter Obi loyal to IPOB?

They are IPOB terrorists, they have command centers and places where they congregate.

Soldiers just need to look for them and kill them all. Nigeria army already have a statement that the terrorists won’t go unpunished.
