Understandable but that will also reduce the price of fuel since there is an alternative. Not everyone will also switch to CNG because it's conversion kit is quite expensive too.

If we optimize production and supply chain processes in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the oil and gas sector, to ensure process efficiencies which will reflect in lower cost of production, I believe if Dangote receives its crude in- country, the company should be able to deliver petrol at N500 per litre, but will the cartel allow such a thing to happen?

I also believe we should not put all our eggs in one basket, so I support CNG Initiative for mass transit buses... but will it bring down the cost of public transportation, time will tell.
