Well I followed the HND route to serving my fatherland, I ain't so familiar with the university grading system. So my younger sister got a 4.75 cgpa first year, what does this entail, can she aim for a first-class? |

Did you throw the question to the sister before bringing it here? This post portrays stupidity. Did the sister say she does not understand the meaning of her CGPA? If yes, she didn't get 4.75 CGPA. If she understands the meaning of the CGPA, why are you asking us for the meaning? That's first class.. from 4.5 - 5.0 on a 5 point grading system is first class. I hope she is able to maintain the tempo and avoid distractions. |

MrProlific95:Of course, she can make a first class if and only if she doubles, triples and quadruple her efforts in subsequent years. I know people who made 5.0 in year one and ended up graduating with a 2:2. So 4.75 CGPA is no guarantee. All the best to her. |
