If he is a manager in charge of payments. He will.earn nothing less than N1.2mn monthly. Only very junior contract staffs earn N80k...full time staffs of banks do not earn less than N200k per month at the least grade

I know cos I have spent over 14 years in commercial banking.
as it should be..

40 billion is enough incentive for the bank to hire the right hands to crack that. or you think its hack proof ?
You make me laugh, it cannot be hacked.
The bank should go ahead and hire one.

This is not compromising email with virus oh, and people who even do that don't have access to the cash, they can only wait to change transaction details fast.

40 billion huh...in as much as i dont support stealing in any form...but i must say this is what u get wen staffs are not well paid...

I always say it, people who work in financial institutions should be well paid..not paying 80k

And like i said earlier, there is no justification for stealing
over intelligence talk ended up contradicting himself..

Oga abi madam when greed and selfishness becomes inherent In someone's life, the propensity to engage in shades becomes possible even with good salaries and better condition of service.......for 2years this idiot was diverting UN resolved allowances to different bank since customers often forget about their non reversed money over time.........40 billion within two years .....this is not about salaries of poor condition for service.....2years the greedy idiots would have called it quite since .....but trust me as a typical Nigerian with a common idiosyncrasies of pervasions he wouldn't HV stoped ...infact he will tag it as Gods blessing

Not only in Nigeria. Nigeria's Hushpuppy defrauded the US system even from outside, not to talk of an insider working in the system. Humans beings run system, systems don't run themselves.
Two very different scenarios and victims.

He will be eventually caught and the money recovered significantly if this is true.

I doubt if he could have singlehandedly pulled this wink
I used to know that guy b4 this alarm was raised. He's popular in surulere clubs spending huge amount of money. At first I thought he was an online fraudster(yahoo) little did I know he works in a bank.
I doubt if the law will catch up wit him cos last I heard about him he has left the country to a south American country.

it depends on the grounds for it being deducted. Is it a loan? Lien? Charges? I'd like to know to be able to give concise answer.

No reason is good enough to justify an immoral act..
A thief will always remain a thief.

I heard of someone who earned about 600k over 10 years ago, yet diverted company's product worth 60m, sold it and kept the money.
Yet, he wasn't caught because he sold the products.
Rather, he was caught because of his greed.
He decided to chop it alone without giving the driver who moved the product anything as his share of the deal.

So you see, a thief will always remain a thief.

I know ladies from very poor background, that did not push them into selling their bodies for money, yet we have seen others from average or even rich ones doing so for fun and cruise.
This is because they are doing it not because they need the money but because that immoral act dey inside them, they won't be okay if they don't do it.

Listen, if it's a bank transaction no problem, FBI has access to the Bank management and all.

This is Blockchain they have strict terms.
Even IPhone has that too.

Why didn't apple unlock Hushpuppi's phone when it was taken to them?

If you don't give the proper combination of a cold wallet nobody can access it.

Even you the owner, if you forget it your money is gone.

Read more about this.

The figure can keep increasing. That is what they discovered so far. It wasn't done once in a lump sum; it was done over time. The bank official must be a very greedy man to have continued even with the huge amount he already accumulated.

Do you know what it is to be the “last line of authorization in a bank?” In a huge bank like First Bank? That man was definitely not paid N80k. Bankers on this forum can inform you better.

He was simply greedy.
You get... Very greedy. I'm sure he doesn't want to know how much the thief collects.

Whenever you hear that a Nigerian committed financial crime that has to do with wire wire, money transfer, money laundering and identity theft, look no further, that person must be a Yoruba person.
