He could have kept the subsidy and kept protecting the Naira but that will not take the economy to where it ought to be in the long run.

That is not even the problem,the issue is whether Nigerians will want to wait patiently till 2027 without knowing how many person's would have died of hunger by then,how many person's would have been killed for being caught stealing to survive or how many person's would have been in idp camps because of insecurity..I have always said we are not serious in this country..an inflation of almost 500%and we have not hit the streets protesting already .
