This strike will fail. It should have happened long ago during the fuel and Forex crisis. This is waste of time. Bank can't pay N400k minimum wage neither can manufacturers or even gov.

The half a million monthly pay Labour is asking for is unrealistic. Till today, some states can’t even pay the 30k minimum wage.

Aside, why should the FG be negotiating wages on behalf the states? I’m of the strong opinion that the negotiations should be decentralised.

Minimum wage of 80k to 100k is more like it.

To add,

by the time the minimum wage the NLC want is given, the prices of goods and services will also artificially increase and will remain so. the purchasing power of the minimum wage will come to become what N30,000 is right now.

The value of the Naira will fall beyond comprehension and the inflation will
be massive.

The NLC is being lead by either fools or they are consciously letting themselves to be used as a political tool.

Basic understanding of the dynamics of micro Economics should tell them that their demands are currently unrealistic.
