It is obvious you are benefiting from one useless politician/senator who prioritizes national anthem change than actually solving salient problems and getting paid millions monthly for doing rubbish.

It is politicians that are not reaping off fellow Nigerians abi.

If you agree politicians and workers are the same why are you attacking the workers if they also want to benefit from doing nothing like the politicians.

Let all of us be mad.
That's the pure fact. That person is actually right. B4 day 7 of the strike, people will cry out...

How many private companies can pay 400k monthly? Even 150k. All we Neen is goat controlling price. Subsidising items like food..

If you want pay like politicians. No one has stopped you from contesting. The 1.2 million workers don't represent the Nigerians on the street working more and earnings less than 60k.Why are most civil servant afraid of self employment. It is because they want free money for doing nothing in those offices. You are fighting for your pockets for 1.2 million of you corrupt workers. Who is fighting for the other Nigerian masses not making upto 60k after working harder everyday.
Which worker actually. Is it this ones we see every day reaping off fellow Nigerians in those offices. The workers and the politicians are all the same
A very big brain smashing iron rod is what you need on your worm infested brain right now

The masses did not cause the mess nigeria is in economically right now.

Your useless myopic polithiefcians caused all this with their incompetence.

Pay workers what they deserve even if you cannot pay everything.

There must be a minimum wage set as a yardstick for others to follow

Private sector cannot pay 400k or even 150k but politicians will comfortably take 30 - 35m monthly from tax payers money as salary.

And we should all continue to look.

Labour knows 400k is not feasible but want to something that would be reasonable for the workers, like 150k.

When the private sector cannot pay the 150k then we will really know the true state of this govt/country and why a senator will still be collecting 30- 35m monthly, not to talk of constituency project money and security votes the govs use to enrich themselves.

Workers want their share!

Full compliance here. Tinubu government should yield to new minimum wage bill proposed by Nlc. It’s very important he do that.

Anyone who supports shutting down energy (electricity, gas, petrol) is an economic terrorist.

Imagine hospitals without electricity and diesel, or hotels, airports....lots of houses use boreholes and now won't have either electricity or water... businesses will suffer.... self-employed small businesses such as hair salons and barbershops and people selling frozen goods will lose.

This is an unconscionable act of pure evil.

Tinubu is insulated from the effects, by the way.

Go and quit them na. Even if it's free money let them have it. What the senators and ministers and aides are collecting is reasonable to you abi.

You won't complain when they use 90billion for hajj, buy 150m jeeps for themselves, spend a stupendous amount of money for travelling, increase electricity and fuel over 300% so that ordinary citizens will continue to suffer.

They don't want to be reasonable in their spending but want citizens to suffer.

Yet it's workers output you are stressed about.
They took thousands of delegates to Dubai on taxpayers money for a mere summit o. This country is fuji house of comedy. 😂😂😂😂😂

No hospital
No pay for salary.

Some people shouting here will not benefit shi shi coz even coy are retrenching workers.

Accept 70k as wages. Fg go negotiate for 70k. Fight for price control make prices come down....

B4 7 days reach now those praising Nlc will be against them. Lemme sit nd watch.
forget about it is 7 days strike, it’s indefinite strike and if the Fg doesn’t agree on Labour demands, it will be full 4 weeks of 2 months strike. If the Fg agree to pay 150k or 200k per month, that one is justifiable and realistic. But paying #60k is highly bad and unjustifiable. Fg should accept Nlc proposed new wage bill on time before it escalates to another turn. Even Tinubu diehard fans will support the protests.

Breaking
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has instructed its members to join the ongoing strike led by the organized labour.

The NLC and TUC commenced a nationwide industrial action on Monday in protest against the N60,000 minimum wage proposal of the Federal Government.

ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, issued a statement on Monday, instructing branch chairpersons and zonal coordinators of ASUU to mobilize lecturers nationwide to participate in the strike as an affiliate of the congress.

The statement read, “The NLC has declared an indefinite strike action beginning from Monday, 3rd June, 2024, as a result of the failure of Government to conclude the renegotiation of minimum wage for Nigerian workers and reversal of hike in electricity tariff.

“Our branches are hereby enjoined to join in the strike action as an affiliate member of Congress.

“Consequently, branch chairpersons are to mobilise all members to participate in the strike action. Yours in the struggle.”

Las Las, I dey see around 200k if not more as minimum wage, thank you NLC and removal of tariffs. But, I would suggest, since electricity discos are improving on light these time, they should allow them as long as there would be more power hours till we start seeing 24 hours light.
