Don't Sell Or Rent Out Your Property Till The Minimum Wage Saga Is Over by REDshouse(op): 1:27pm On Jun 03, 2024
With thee minimum wage demand of the Nilc/Tuc from 35k to whatever agreed price ..

I will advice property owners to pend any sales or letting of property be it car, house or whatever till the hullabaloo is over because it is certain that inflation will more than triple depending on the agreed negotiated price.

The value of naira will be totally useless .

A roomself averaging like 400k per annum may cost 4m per annum if agreed at 450k per annum..

A tokunbo 2005 Corolla car at 4m will cost 13m to 15m so be prepared for hyper inflation.....

the exponential increase in price of goods and commodity should be expected...

When a gateman or security men will be earning 450k a month what do u expect a pepper seller to sell her goods, what do u expect of a property owner, person selling cement will also want to pay their sales rep equivalent of minimum wage earner, where will he get that money from if not increasing price of commodities to fit into such expenses..

The effect of hyper inflation will be the worst in Nigeria

So u mean a grade level one will earn 450k while a pepper seller on d street will be struggling to earn 20k ... And landlords won't capitalize on that to increase their rent ...
