I don't still understand how a strike will make the FG pay 450k
Govt supposed to responsible in their discussion. 100k to 150k is OK. Edo state is paying 70k and govt is proposing 60k after Tinibu removed subsidy, increase the tax rate, float the currency, hike electric tariff, no palliative of any sort... Tinibu should stop punishing Nigerians

The IG of police Kayode Egbetokun have successfully turned the entire Nigeria police force into a huge joke.

Who declared the strike illegal?

The court didn't declare it illegal, but Fagbemi, the charge and bail lawyer who Tinubu appointed as AGF, declared the strike illegal.
IGP is not speaking for us, he is speaking for his family

It seems the Nigeria police does not understand it's place in society
That's what you get from an institution that has been bastardised, neglected.

u are talking like nlc just started organizing protest when tinubu became the president. It shows ur political biasness and someone who doesnt mean well for the people. Under Jonathan regime, labour organized strike and most apc members where in fore front of it. Even before Jonathan time, labour has been protesting, so it isn't news.
When NLC used to organize strikes before now, that NLC didnt interfere in who became Chairman or a party or involve in any parties primaries and congress. But the NLC we have today has become so engrossed with LP and its day to day activities
This is a political NLC

Nigeria Police Force views this action as a potential catalyst for increased tension and political instability.

What kind of Police force would get itself into this? In the present Nigeria,
Security of tenure of those who appointed the Police chiefs, has taken over Security of the populace for which Police formations are established for in normal countries.
Puah!

Labor has clearly said that they are ready to meet the FG at the middle. That the FG is showing unseriousness. That's why it's still at 450k.

Any private sector that joined this selfish strike are only hurting themselves

Fight for high inflation, reduction of fuel hike with a total lockdown and watch as it will be addressed but the fooolish pressure groups leaders chose to be stuupid

That's why I would have love North or south south to be NLC chairman at this period, not these Igbo that operate with emotions

What concerns the IGP with minimum wage issues.
Anyways, it's not everyone that collect #50 per passing vehicle and okada per day, to augment the national minimum wage.

When restructuring is done, it'd be on the basis of states autonomy. Every state will have to stand on its own. If you're eyeing Lagos,
you go wait taya grin
