O pari.

This time LP beat our Dubai-based former President, HE Atiku to it. Well, it's better late than never.

Every reasonable Nigerian knows that what they are demanding for minimum wage is unrealistic and a strike called by labour unions affiliated to political interests led by non-Muslims ,just few days to Eid , is already insensitive and partisan.

All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose.

You are the real enemy of Nigeria here. All you guys do is to wipe up religious and tribal sentiment, leaving issue based discussion because you know that the illitrates and religious bigots will buy it. Shame on you Yoruba Muslims.
Re: Strike’ll Add To Hardship, N494,000 Minimum Wage Unrealistic, Says LP by epainos: 5:04pm On Jun 03, 2024
Definitely N494k is unrealistic; however, the Nigerian government should do something to curb looting inntje national assembly. Let them also make big sacrifices. But this will not happen.

There is no way out of the thing other than the poor man will keep on suffering. This is the truth.

I have written so much about this issue. Take your destiny into your hands.

You have three options:

1. Earn dollars while in Naija.
2. Japa
3. If you cannot do either of the above, start gardening. Produce your veggie, poultry meat and eggs. Also produce fruits and goat milk if you can.

You are good to go with any of these there options.

Since the strike will lead to hardship, then Tinubu government should ascend to the Labour unions demands on the new minimum wage bill. The better for Tinubu government to ascend fast without wasting the workers time the better. The strike will ruined Tinubu government more if he didn’t yield to the Labour unions demands here. As if Nigerians aren’t in hardship with the hyper inflated economy Tinubu is running in his government .

Yes! 490k minimum wage is not realistic. Government proposed 100k which is realistic. Labor said government should break the proposed wages down. This shows dishonesty on the part of the government.

Even if the breakdown is bad, drop it and let them dialogue with it.
Govt proposed 60k not 100k

I don't care even if it is #1 000 000 minimum wage everybody need money or we cut cost of governance

How much a Nigerian Senator is earning in a year?

Compare to what a Senator in a country like Malaysia or Sri Lanka is earning in a year.

Yet our economy is laughing stock because the people on top are milking the common man.

It is very unrealistic and demeaning for LP to utter such statement? Who is LP to advise labour to call off the strike.

This party should stop seeing themselves as important in this country. They should understand that it was as a result of Peter Obi that the name came into existence and that should not give them the leverage to meddle in the things that has to do with masses.

If Obi should leave LP today, many are crossing with him because we are not after the party but individual.

The problem of this country is that we don't want to tell ourselves the truth, what is 100k in this wicked economy. How much does the politicians give to their side chicks.Nigeria workers have turned to beggars because of the wickedness of our politicians. How many of them will survive with 500k a month not to talk of 100k.big bread is around 2k,garri is 45, beans is 6k one basket. No wonder every worker is in loan, while the government borrow to steal.
