Without prejudice to religion and tribe this man is by miles the best thing to ever ever happen to Africa bar Nelson Mandela, he has given us enormous prestige worldwide as a race, I am simply horrified that there are people who still speak I'll of this gracious fellow, the vast opportunities that his business will bring to us Nigerians will never be selective through religion, tribe, sex and so on, I do think he is way more valuable to us all than we are to him

REVENUE IS NOT PROFIT MAKE WE DE TRY LEAVE SENTIMENTS AND TRIBE ALONE.

RUNNING COST OF THAT BUSINESS DAILY MIGHT BE MORE THAN $1M, REMEMBER ITS IN NIGERIA AND MOSTLY OPERATES WITH THE POWER OF A GENERATOR. REMEMBER HE ALSO ACQUIRED THAT GENERATOR FOR $2BILLION ON CREDIT LOAN TO PAY IN INSTALLMENTS. REMEMBER ALSO SALARIES AND MAINTENANCE. REVENUE IS FAR FROM PROFITS
Who told you that dangote refinery is running on generators?

Are you the one that borrowed him $2 billion to buy generators?

Dangote is generating his own electricity.

Cheers 🥂
Nice write-up by the way
Faiththatworks:
God bless Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
I read in another thread that The landing cost of petrol is now close to 1100naira. I believe this is the best time for Alh Aliko to release his petrol into the market.
It doesn't make any sense for Nigeria to keep importing Petrol and exporting crude oil, it's what I call institutional madness. All the profit we make on Exporting crude oil we use it to import Petrol, Enough of this madness.
Like Alhaji Aliko Dangote said in the interview, that's the biggest problem of Africa, the ceaseless exploitation of our Natural resources by Foreigners, this madness is encouraged by parasitic and imbecilic leaders who are only concerned about what they will get in the short term.
For those who are still arguing that Dangote hasn't started selling refined Diesel and Aviation Fuel you are still living in Fools Paradise, I advice everyone to have an investment around the Refinery.
Seeing the Figures Alhaji Dangote quoted in that interview should wet the appetite of any discerning investors.
That income is more than the budget of 20 states in Nigeria.
I sell land close to the Refinery and I believe that's a way to invest in your future.
For more details you can check my signature.
God bless Nigeria

Dangote is not your friend and not in business to help Nigerians. Why are you people so easily deceived? What other products is he currently selling that is cheaper than any of his competitors? Now, he has monopolistic powers with the refinery, what are you expecting?

Not hausas generally, but those from Kano have proven overtime that they are some of the best business men in Nigeria.

Kano people have a saying, "Kano tumbin giwa, ko dame kazo an fika." Basically, it means, whatever you bring to Kano, you will find that there's someone who has it more than you
