Diversion! Yeah, we have memorized it and we know the meaning! No be only English translation we dey read!
Go and tell your mum and Sisters to memorize how the daughters of Lot slept with their father in turn while giving him wine till they got pregnant after God saved them from sodomy to incest!
As a Muslim, why not teach us what you know about Islam, why do you need to ridicule yourself here.

You don't know Bible. Your boss, Yusuf Adepoju, Zakir Naik, and all of you rogue commentators are wasting your time and life.

What about your prophet accused of stealing underwear by his followers?

How will any Christian agree?

At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath. Matthew 12:1-2

Why was he not accused of stealing?
They were more concerned with the Sabbath!

LOL. You have already tagged some questions foolish, for obvious reasons, which suggests that you are the last person anyone should to provide any form of clarity to people who ask these questions.
Is there a foolish question or no? Even the Bible says to avoid FOOLISH questions. So you cannot really ask foolish questions and expect divine answers or christian answers. You're free to keep asking foolish questions within your ranks and echo chambers, it is within your rights.

This story predates Mohammed. Would you say this is what inspired Mohammed to be a highway robber?

Is your NWT a translation, transliteration, or commentary?

If you put it side by side Hebrew and Greek versions. There are more of JWs doctrines and views than the original writs in content, context, and intentions of the writers.

So, which is your NWT?

Translation and interpretation is 5&6 what is of utmost importance is how what you heard makes you act and obey the Author.
If you're not acting in line with the author's command there's no sense in whatever translation or interpretation given!

When Holy Spirit is WORKING your honesty means nothing {James 2:18-26} because it's from imperfect human mind, if this is about honesty many from different religions are honest yet they're lost in false religions.
So what really matters is the result expected of those studying God's word {Matthew 7:16-18} if your religion is not performing up to expectation then all your honesty is worthless before God! Isaiah 64:6

you don't even know the name of your own perverted book

Pro_11:20 The perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD

1Co 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints

2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them

We don't make them up.

2Ti_2:23  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Titus_3:9  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Ọgá softly softly. Which Holy Spirit nah.
I merely asked if NWT is a literal translation of the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts or embellished to suit your doctrines, thus reducing it to commentary.

If it does not reflect the original writs (in content, context, and intentions of the writers) in the manuscripts, it is a honest translation or transliterations. I understand that none of your GB members have been proficient in any of these languages.

Again I am asking: is NWT a translation, transliteration, or commentary?

Yes, when you add your own ideas, it has become a commentary. A commentary is your own view not necessarily the ideas behind the thoughts of the original writer.

So, is NWT a translation transliteration, or commentary?

Ọmọ why do you think Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes kept complaining about Jesus' application of what the prophets wrote?

For your information it's his application that's not in harmony with the rest of all religious teachers in Israel just as you're worried now that JWs interpretation and application of what was written differs from yours.

So instead of arguing over the LETTERS think about the SPIRIT {2Corinthians 3:6} because it's the LIVING SPIRIT that's WORKING not just what you believe! James 2:18-26 smiley

You answered my question incorrectly
You see how super ignorant you are of the Bible. Even a 4 year old knows there's at least 4 different methods or approaches to Bible translations but you say it's just one.

Now, another question

1. NIV, TLB, NLT, etc. Do their translators use word for word translation? Yes or No? If No, which translation method did they use

2. Again, is Word for word the only approach to Bible translation? (I am giving you another chance to do expo on the Internet and do better research before you come de yan nonsense)

3. According to the General Bible scholar and translation community, what are the problems and limitations of word for word and does it make it accurate, precise, both accurate and precise or less?

4. What is more important in Bible translation - accuracy or precision
