I still wonder why some bunch of "chicanery elements" will compare a literature legend like Prof. Chinua Achebe to that street cultist called Ole soyinka.

We all ought to know that soyinka's "noble prize award" was given to him because he was the only (dubious) literature writer who attended, and that was part of his articulated plan to achieve that award (what more can a cultist be known for). He betrayed his African colleagues who all agreed to snub that event.

NB: Always be mindful and watchful when you enter any agreement with a yoruba man, they are all saboteurs from time immemorial.

If Prof. Chinua Achebe or any other more_learned literature writer had attended that event, no one will even make a mockery of himself to call out that illiterate cultist, talk more of giving him an award, for what exactly - is it for being a cultist, (or) a chain smoker, (or) a rebel, (or) an ex-convict who has spent most of his years in prison; what exactly those the man deserve an award for?
we need to look beyond & shove tribalism down our asses, the truth remains that Prof. Chinua Achebe will never be compared with that street marijuana smoker called soyinka in all ramifications of literature and it's the fact.
