Actually, right from time, these kinds of yams exist and sometimes it's because the other half was spoilt. Cos cutting into two can ruin the whole tuber and rot begin from one part until the whole half is done for. Other times, like you said, it could be because of affordability but that's not mostly the case.

However,the same way she has the right to vote and campaign for any rubbish. So also we have the right to make jest of her,Troll her and do all sorts as long as we don't go the part of violence like Buhari supporters did on their way to power.
