Not true. Kids tend to gravitate towards their mum, since she's the one caring for them while the man is grinding to provide for the family.

Really? Taking care of kids goes beyond provision? What does it also entail? Being present for the kids shay? Is that your answer? Well let me inform you, Incase you don't know, in third world countries like Nigeria, there are parents that work their fingers to the bones from dawn til dusk to provide for their family and barely raise enough to meet their family needs. What should such a man do? Sit at home and watch the kids while the bills pile up? And what did you also say? "I know mothers who wouldn't travel if their husband is not coming along with them"? Lol I know women that will forget every good thing that the man ever did for the family immediately he becomes vulnerable. All these busybodies asking about the dad don't realize that many elderly men are not inclined to travel long distance. I have a childhood friend in Montreal whose mum visits him at least twice a year, but the dad has never once been there because the man said he doesn't have the energy for that kind of travel. My own dad has already said if any of his children relocate abroad, that is byebye because he will not travel anywhere to see anybody.

Any small thing all these online warriors will be moaning and bitching about fathers being abandoned, meanwhile the opposite is the case because daughters especially don't joke with their fathers.
