It doesn't take much to expose an empty vessel.

In the barren wasteland that your mind inhabits, it is impossible for you to grasp the idea of the effect of a partial subsidy removal on prices. It is simply too much for you to understand that the partial removal of the subsidy had an immediate effect on what Nigerians buy in the market. It is also too much for you to understand that (at the same time) the subsidy has not been fully removed. How? Well...Nigeria imports 100% of its petrol AND the pump head price of a litre of petrol is still less than the (all in) landing cost per litre of petrol. Who pays for this difference? undecided

Do you get it now?

I threw you a challenge earlier. If dem born you well, take me up on it. I am not asking for too much - just take a position on this subsidy matter and defend it as well as you can. No insults. No cursing. Just a well thought out argument, persuasively put forward.

I am waiting...
Pls stop talking nonsense.

Go to court if you are sad about the news.

I am sad, actually.

I am sad that you couldn't rise to the occasion and let us have a healthy, lively, productive debate.

Like I said earlier, any fool can freely curse and insult other people over the internet. It doesn't require any effort to do this. It takes a lot more effort (and brains) to structure a valid argument and defend it properly against an opposing viewpoint.

What a pity. I thought I could learn something from you but I was wrong. sad

I wish we can. And in all honesty, should we?

Trying to be clever by half.

Just like a man trying to deny a pregnancy when the woman's belly is beginning to show...in a few months the evidence will be unmistakeable. cheesy

It won't be long now. The supplementary budget will show how fuel subsidy blew a hole into this country's finances despite your denials. I will look for you then and you had better be around to defend the statements you have made today.
The problem with people like you is that you only want to apply logic and common sense when the story is about your Agulu packaged fraud or about Igbos.
What is wrong in asking those making any allegations to provide evidence?
If anyone should accuse your Agulu packaged fraud of being sympathizer of the IPOB terrorist cannibal monkeys, you will demand evidence of such accusation. If any print any bad story about your Biafu ro jungle, you will be asking for sources, pictures, videos and live videos self.
Buy once the story is not about your Yes Daddy religious fanatical IPOB terrorist cannibal monkey, then we don't need evidence. We should just believe anything.
Your hypocrisy is astonishing and pathetic.

Abysmally poor response. Just terrible. Terrible!

Your first post (poor as it was) at least tried to stay on message a little bit. In it you tried (unsuccessfully) to argue that the government isn't paying subsidy on PMS imports - even though the World Bank (whom your paymaster dares not defy) stated very clearly a few months ago: "PMS prices in Nigeria are not cost reflective". Like I said earlier, there'll be no hiding place for you in a few months - when the budget add ons are sent for rubber stamping by federal lawmakers. Until then.

Your second post up here on the other hand is simply unhinged. You spoke about packaged fraud grin, terrorism, cannibalism, primates, Biafra, religious fanaticism and a lot of other mad stuff...crystal clear evidence of an acid trip gone terribly wrong.

Stay off the drugs. There's no way back once you go down that rabbit hole. cheesy

Pls say no to mkpuru mirri and cannibalism. They are bad for your mental and physical health. That's the best advice I can give you.
Get lost.
Bye.

People spreading the rumors should prove that the govt is still paying subsidies. Is it that hard to show payment who was paid by whom and what time and date? Nigerian press are just a bunch of lazy incompetent mumus just like some of the Nigerian population.
They should ask tough questions. If you claim something, then you should show proof, it's that simple.
Who are the monies paid to, how much, when, and by whom?
A simple research would have save you from this disgrace of intelligence. Mr. Edun the coordinating minister of economy has always maintained that Nigeria still pays subsidy. You are only saying this because you only watch NTA. Mr. Edun is an economist and not a politician, he will always say the truth. Mr. Onunuga a politician will then twist it. “Fuel Subsidy removal is an ongoing process” – Wale Edun
Also check the price of PMS in the oil market which in dollars convert it to Naira then you will know the amount the FG pays for downstream of PMS.
