Important Dates!
Fasting days will be 1st-9th Dhul-Hijjah 1445 = Friday 7th - Saturday 15th June 2024.
Day of Arafah = 9th Dhul-Hijjah 1445 = Saturday 15th June 2024.
'Eid al Adha = 10th Dhul-Hijjah = Sunday 16th June 2024.
Days of Tashriq = 11th, 12th and 13th Dhul-Hijjah = Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th June 2024.

Notes on the recitation of Takbir
1- Unrestricted Takbir (mutlaq) is not limited to a specific time, and it is Sunnah to say it all the time, morning and evening, before prayer and after prayer, at all times.

Restricted Takbir (muqayyad) is limited to the time immediately after prayer.

2- It is Sunnah to recite unrestricted takbir during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and all the days of Tashriq, starting from the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijjah (i.e., from sunset on the last day of Dhul-Qi’dah) until the end of the days of Al-Tashriq, which is when the sun sets on the thirteenth day of Dhul-Hijjah) = Thursday 6th June - Wednesday 19th June 2024

3-With regard to restricted takbir, it starts from Fajr on the day of ‘Arafah and lasts until the sun sets on the last day of the days of Tashriq = Saturday 15th June 2024 - Wednesday 19th June 2024.

May Allah accept our Ibadah and grant us Jannah!

As Salam alaykum waramatullahi wabarakatuh to the Ummah.

I believe we need to make a case to Seun, to allow a devout and well known Muslim to be a moderator for Islam Section and if he wishes he can do same for Christians too.

That way, we can yank off all these visitors in the wrong section away. I have restrained myself from using the right word for them.

We cannot continue to bear this nonsense they will not allow in their section just because data is cheap.

There must be a much better way to deal with this.
