Lithiumite:I thought I was the only one who noticed. A professional would not have done that, clearly someone pocketed the money and got a cheap alternative. So off-putting. |

In this day and age, our politicians are still putting on a show to open a primary care center. The revenue spent on these commissioning events could be used for other projects or empowerment initiatives. At every opportunity, they don't hesitate to organize these annoying and embarrassing commissioning ceremonies. Even the Lagos government that forms woke and claims to be progressive, is guilty of this. Wake up, Nigeria; we are ages behind. We are just anyhow, haba.Wake up,stop sleeping... Well done though for building the center but wake up. |

Babangidapikin:Nigerians and Newsmakers I appreciate his efforts but I don't see anything exceptional he is doing. He is not using his money as Lagos is richer than Nigeria itself . Lagos is the business hub of Africa if you don't know. Infact Lagos should now compete with cities like Johannesburg and cities in Northern Africa. Unfortunately, we celebrate the norm here ... |

I just wonder why you will use this hospital to shade Obi when Obi built a teaching hospital that is far better than this one. The suffering in Lagos is even more than any state in Nigeria so what exactly are you talking about.i was in Lagos for 6 months last year and almost everyday 2 to 3 people on the streets will beg me for money to eat or transport but presently I'm in the SS though people beg occasionally not like that of Lagos. Lagos is building structure but her people are very hungry |

It's usually expensive to access medical facilities in any part of the world...It is expensive also to treat some medical conditions too through traditional medicines. The fault is not on the practitioners, but the high cost of sourcing for the needed herbs and roots. I can help with herbal medicines that will heal up crisis in sickle cell Anaemia patients. Mail me! |

Babangidapikin:Don't compare Lagos, the supposed economic capital to other states. Lagos prosperity is largely hinged on her population, nothing really fantastic when compared to what her peers like Johannesburg and Cairo are doing. Those ones don't flex muscles with their sister states because they know they are economic movers of their respective countries |

Good! But Sickness is business! Prevention is better than cure! It is cheaper, far cheaper than treatment and saves lots of psychological trauma! Community Health education and genetic counseling on SCD should be strongly promoted. |
