"3.2 Basis of the Federation: "(1) Every Ethnic Nationality and People in Nigeria has an unconditional right to self-determination within here delineated territories.Hehehe! Nice one! After all Tinubu and all his cohorts in the ACN and APC were staunch advocates of restructuring to regionalism back then. This is one of the reason the refused to attend the 2014 confab, but his first priority was to bastardized the economy then change national anthem. So it would seem it is a generational thing as the oldies yearn for the glorious days of their childhood, while we who were shaped in the military mould, hold on to the things the military gave to us. If a return to old anthem can be done, then a return to regional governments or better political restructuring can be effected by a democratic government. It is time for democratic Nigeria to shape Nigeria, instead of just living the system the military regimes put in place to usher a return to democracy. If Tinubu got balls, let him move beyond this mental rejiging of Nigerians and see through with the necessary changes to national life.ACN bloc campaigned all their life about restructuring, it will be the greatest disservice if Tinubu won't complete that restructuring with all the power it seems he wields. Now the time beckons. The gradual deconstruction of this contraption of an entity is gradually unfolding. Guess Shettima that said "restructuring my foot" will not be angry now? Meanwhile, thought the NASS and the Tinubu led presidency all vehemently denied that there is no plan to return to regional government? |

GRADUALLY we are getting there, even if it will take years to implement. Until we respect our tribal and ethnical differences and uniquenesses, and RESTRUCTURE Nigeria into regions accordingly, Nigeria will not make significant progress. A UNITED REGIONS OF NIGERIA (URN) is much better than this current version of "One Nigeria" by force. #RestructureNigeria |

Good news 👏 everyone must be free. Lagos too must be free. No more relinquishing their birth rights (government house) to other so called 'attache by force' lagos residents ![]() As there is a south-south so shall there be a west-west and north-north . . . ![]() I will wait and see how or where they want to create the east-east from ![]() |

When I said the rumour last week was sponsored, some people wanted to eat me raw. This is the best news so far. It will happen No going back We are moving to regional government before Nigeria finally disintegrate but with a strong military force that will protect our diffent borders from foreign invasion. Let's watch as event unfolds. Let well meaning Nigerians lend their voices and support Tinubu on this agenda. If we don't, if power mistakenly returns back to the North, it will never leave the North again.

Racoon:You are shameless. Would it kill you to praise Tinubu directly and without ambivalence for going where no President, including your darling GEJ, has dared to go in pursuit of what is best for Nigeria and Nigerians? In case most Nigerians have not realised it, regional autonomy is the holy grail of what any leader can achieve for Nigeria. It is essentially the get out of 'one Nigeria' jail card for all regions to go and become as great or as backward as the indigenes desire. No more forces of regression holding back progressive, peace loving and development-minded people. It cannot ever be beaten because it is even far more transformational for Nigerians and their generations unborn than Awolowo's free education. Still, I appreciate that your DNA, laced top to bottom with hate for Yorubas and Tinubu, will never allow you give credit where and to whom due. Pathetic. |

Lol, dream on. Just like Biden collected Chimamanda's letter and threw it inside toilet, that would also happen to this draft. If you think the NASS would return you to regionalism, then you must be climbing on the edge of a leaf. Aguiyi Ironsi had already done an irreparable damage. We can only restructure the system by granting more resource control to the states. You want regionalism yet jumping up when house of rep passed a bill creating Orlu state, how does that work? -Kiss the truth! |

JohnnA1:That is best....other seaports become more functional, it will be cheaper for a business person in Aba, Benue, Borno, Taraba etc to import through Calabar port than Lagos port.
