Some folks will be so pained by this. As it does not give them the weapon to go on their ethnic chest beating rant.

Please everyone, a friend of mine in Abuja has about 10 bags of zobo leaves that she wants to sell. Please, if you're interested in buying them, do let me know so I can connect you with her. She stays in FCT-Abuja.

If you read the book on the history of Education in Nigeria by Prof Babatunde Fafunwa. The igbos(Eastern region) overtook the Western region in education from 1937, this made Awolowo introduce free education in 1955, because there was a high number of igbos in the colonial civil service due to their basic level of education. The igbos lost a generation of educated intelligentsia during the civil war
Gladly they are fast returning back to what it used to be.

The southeast they love to hate keeps growing in powers, funny enough, it's the north that would still get most federal government jobs and political appointments.
And will still decide who rules this country lol. Really funny

Hmm...

Need more information...

Does this mean the North has a higher primary school enrolment rate than the South?
Dropout rate means, based on the number of people who enrolled

If 10 enrolled and 2 dropped out, dropout rate is 20%, which means for every 10 that enroll, 2 will dropout.

Enrollment rate is based on the population and that’s another topic altogether

Eve though buhari is from north with the highest number of drop out still managed this country BETTER than Tunibu from the South with lowest number of drop out. This is to tell you being educated does make your life better.I don't think Dangote and Atiku have degree but are the richest individuals in Nigeria from the north.

Clearly regions with higher population will logically have higher stats in cases like this. There is no reason a region with with a smaller pollution should have more dropouts. Although our brothers from the north should do better

There is no need for chest beating or name calling

Re: Primary School Dropout Rate Across Geopolitical Zones (pic) by Starboy2bad: 2:58pm On Jun 08, 2024
I know north east would top the list

Meanwhile, if you’re into any business, either online or offline and you’re looking out for;
1) An easier way to get intentional leads (customers)
2) How to sell to them easily,

If you’re also a 9 to 5 staff that is contemplating on an easier route to make a good side income,

Check my signature for my number and send a text via WhatsApp …. I’ll be hosting a free class with regards to this…
Thank me later…🥂

The northern part, understandable but south west? Awolowo must be disappointed.
Lol how many Igbos remain for Igbo land??

By the way, no be who start primary school dey drop out? I've been to the East and I was shocked to realise that many don't even have primary school education at all.

Our governors from south east are not doing well, why should it be drop out from PRIMARY SCHOOL in the south east. In my town where I come from every adult is paying educational levy every month to make sure every child is In titled for basic education

They said dropout rate and you’re talking about the size of the population. Clearly a case of dropping out of your statistics class

“Na statistics we go chop” people

Dropout rate means, based on the number of people who enrolled

If 10 enrolled and 2 dropped out, dropout rate is 20%, which means for every 10 that enroll, 2 will drop out.

The use of "percentage " is to nullify the effect of population imbalance

So don't excuse failures

They only selectively use their population in the SW to back up some stats

Hypocrites
U leave north, face east. Wetin yoruba and igbos actually do them selves for this life? The two ethnic groups have one common enemy which is north, instead of the two ethnic groups to unite and fight, they are busy figthing one another grin

An average Nwa Boi has attempted WAEC, even passed it in flying colors.

Don't allow hatred make you sound stupid in public.

It's unfortunate that people here are using this data to throw shades instead of making sure that NO ONE is left behind. There is no reason for any region to have drop outs from PRIMARY school. Instead my brothers are chestbeating over nothing. What is the point of not dropping out only to be swidled and brainwashed by radio biafra and similar propaganda? The North that have highest drop out have better sense on how to remain relevant in the highest offices.
Re: Primary School Dropout Rate Across Geopolitical Zones (pic) by viodemus: 3:07pm On Jun 08, 2024
The north is more like 85%, na only politicians and some of their associates pikin, dey go primary school for that side. maybe a few other people wey get small money.
Re: Primary School Dropout Rate Across Geopolitical Zones (pic) by DJInfluence: 3:09pm On Jun 08, 2024
The north alone with over 3.5 million children. Imagine how many% of this will in the near future join boko haram or bandits or being used to rig elections or other form of criminality. If we are not worried as a country then I don't know.. there's just not much of a future for the country it seems.
