The northern part, understandable but south west? Awolowo must be disappointed.
Just 7% in south west, with the rate of poverty and widening divide between the rich & poor.

7% is an accomplishment, it’s shows someone somewhere is trying atleast

The lower the percentage the higher their voting sense in voting for a President that will work!

Clearly regions with higher population will logically have higher stats in cases like this. There is no reason a region with with a smaller pollution should have more dropouts. Although our brothers from the north should do better

There is no need for chest beating or name calling
Percentage brings everything to par. Stop reasoning like a neanderthal

Mumu.
Drop out rate is a function of the enrolment rate.

Enrolment rate is a function of the population there.

This is another sign that it is that high in your region.
The quality of your regional education no strong too 😃😃😃

Enrolment rate is highest in the East as well 😄😄😄

South east is the smallest region so the extrapolation is expected.

What is even the difference between those who go school and those that dropped out? South east with smallest dropped out rate are killing and eating human beings and the north west with the highest dropped out are also killing people...

Southeast with the lowest school dropout is where they want Obi to build more schools. To knowledgeable person, they will see that there is no issue of shortages of school here. What can be done and what Obi did mostly is maintaining, upgrading and expanding the already available schools.

APC and Agbado people with their mouthpiece Reno mockery are dullards

If Northern Nigeria is removed for mere analysis purposes, Southern Nigeria could be described as a middle-income country. One thing, it would still be the wealthiest nation in West Africa and come much closer to dem Egypt and South Africa. Another thing, the HDIndices would rise tremendously.

But hey, the rest of Nigeria likes "One Naijeriya".

Oga, no be so. Check the population from this zones to the ratings. Southeast is the list populated among this region. So, stop judging base on this statistics.

What they fail to understand is that the data only capture states not state of origin. Do you know how many igbo youths ran away from south east to south west on the daily basis to sell goods on Lagos roads. The statistics need to be reviewed.

Lol how many Igbos remain for Igbo land??

By the way, no be who start primary school dey drop out? I've been to the East and I was shocked to realise that many don't even have primary school education at all.
The stats says what you saw in the East is lowest in the same East.
Mu.mu
The easy also has the highest enrolment rates.
Did anyone tell you to amass a large population you can't train ?

It's unfortunate that people here are using this data to throw shades instead of making sure that NO ONE is left behind. There is no reason for any region to have drop outs from PRIMARY school. Instead my brothers are chestbeating over nothing. What is the point of not dropping out only to be swidled and brainwashed by radio biafra and similar propaganda? The North that have highest drop out have better sense on how to remain relevant in the highest offices.
You couldn't even hid your bias for a minute while pretending to be Nationalist?

The attack has to be ...Biafra
The accolade has to be...the North

Is the Igbo hate in your DNA? Was it in-born or acquired?

So there are now non- Igbos? When elections comes you guys will say Igbos are not accommodating people. Please who are the non -Igbos?

Yorubas disgracing us with their nothern brothers.
You should be ashamed of Southeastern governors 45.7k is way too much. Primary school should be free with books and pens free too. During Obasnjo, Yarauda and GEJ primary and Junior secondary schools' fees were free. Text books were free for all the subjects. Not for sale! APC government has turned the country upside down.

Those are not Yoruba children. The SW is the most cosmopolitan part of Nigeria. The Yoruba worship their children and no family, however poor would allow their children to be out of school.

They are most children of northerners, Togolese, etc

I've always admired the resilience of the igbos.

A group of people that were able to rebuild their lives and lands after a devastating Civil War. Today,u still see them topping charts as if nothing happened.
Whereas, the region that pride itself to have produced the highest number of head of state/president still remain the most economically backward, most poverty stricken, and now, educationally disadvantaged region..

Chai, truly, the north and the south nor get anything in common at all..
The north is good at rigging elections and nothing more.

The effects of rigging election is highly pronounced in the north going by this statistics. HDI is worst in the north.

Their people are layback in all areas and has dragged this country back for ages and still doing so till date.

The southeast they love to hate keeps growing in powers, funny enough, it's the north that would still get most federal government jobs and political appointments.
Though the fraudulent political structure created by northern soldiers, the North largely decides who rules Nigeria and who gets what appointments

Return regional or zonal sports system now, else everyone in Nigeria will be

Thats why the other regions dont like them especially the North and west, the East is far better than all other western states except lagos and all other Northern states, if not for the war they would have gonbe very far in terms of development, that is why they need to forget the struggle for being the president and develop their region, with all the presidency coming from the north it still has not helped the north in terms of develpment.

Hahahaha. Many of those who fled their stinking enclave and filled south west with many apprentices in Alaba and other markets in the South west are counted as part of SW. What a shame!
