In real number terms, more children are in school in every other region than the i.pob land!!!

The i.pob land has the least population and thus will record the least out of school children too.

The southeast they love to hate keeps growing in powers, funny enough, it's the north that would still get most federal government jobs and political appointments.
have you factored in the number of your displaced people that are scattered everywhere in Sw? How many people remain sad yeast? That tiny deserted region cool

When they put higher percentage of educated ones in southwest, you will say it should be done according to state of origin because you all feel Igbos and Hausa in southwest are part of the percentage. Now you didnt feel the Igbos or hausa are part 7% in southwest.

They only selectively use their population in the SW to back up some stats

Dropout rate means, based on the number of people who enrolled

If 10 enrolled and 2 dropped out, dropout rate is 20%, which means for every 10 that enroll, 2 will dropout.

Enrollment rate is based on the population and that’s another topic altogether
Since the dropout rate for the north east as shown in the analysis is 1.14m or 51%, it stands to reason then that the ENROLMENT figure was about 2.29m (out of which 1.14m dropped out)

So, if the dropout rate for the SE is 45.7k or 3%, it stands to reason that the ENROLMENT figure was around 1.5+m...

Given that, it means more children enrolled or started primary school in the North East than the SE...

Do you now get my point?

I've always admired the resilience of the igbos.

A group of people that were able to rebuild their lives and lands after a devastating Civil War. Today,u still see them topping charts as if nothing happened.
Whereas, the region that pride itself to have produced the highest number of head of state/president still remain the most economically backward, most poverty stricken, and now, educationally disadvantaged region..

They said dropout rate and you’re talking about the size of the population. Clearly a case of dropping out of your statistics class

“Na statistics we go chop” people

Dropout rate means, based on the number of people who enrolled

If 10 enrolled and 2 dropped out, dropout rate is 20%, which means for every 10 that enroll, 2 will drop out.
That Boniee guy is clearly an illiterate.
They don't understand statistics. That's why they say "na statistics we go chop"

The statistical data and academic performance indices are always there to vindicate the region they are mostly obsessed with. Whom God has blessed no man can curse.
I believe lack of understanding and comprehension is affecting our brother from the land of rising wailers. The data is about the drop out rates from primary school and not about graduation rate. You might have less drop out rate but high graduation rate. To help you understand, you can complete the high school but not pass the exam to be deemed qualified. If you still don’t understand, you can argue that with your ancestors.

Finished which school? We are talking of children below 10 years. They get by with broken English. You don’t need school to learn that.

SE where miracle centres full everywhere.

Anything to make you boost is okay.

No sane person would leave SW for SE .....to do what?

Awolowo nonsense is propaganda. There is no education culture amongst the yorubas. They promote everything with propaganda including education until social media era when statistics started to expose them of who they are. Igbos have always been the most education before and after the genocidal war against Igbos which was aimed at stopping our speed development.

Anyone who tells you the truth hates you, continue massaging your ego in your echo chamber. We can see how far its taking the region.

More people enrolled in the NE and NW perhaps because they have a higher population, but why is that important to the dropout rate conversation?

Lack of Qualified Teachers in those areas to inspire the children to learn.

When children are inspired to learn, they will be running to school everyday.

When you make learning fun for kids, they will come to school.

There is a way you will teach a dullard Mathematics that he will understand it so well that he will go home and start teaching his parents.

Am glad am a Teacher that not only teaches but inspires, leads and impacts.

Just recently, Zamfara government workers opened up during this Nationwide strike last week that their minimum wage was just N7K all this while.

How will a Graduate Teacher want to stay back there to work with such salary?

Omo, make I stop here becos this matter long.
