raskymonojendor:I won't bother replying the guy again.. na so Ojukwu form 'I too know' till he entered death trap and wasted millions of his kinsmen. They were killing Igbos all over North but their obsession with Lagos made them march towards West to annex Lagos as part of biafra territory not knowing Yoruba soldiers had laid ambush for them at Ore. The rest is history. |

DMerciful:Yes. And I'm very certain YOU aren't. Notice how you don't see ACTUAL lagosians policing other yorubas. Stay in your lane and create the lagos you covet. If an Igbo from Anambra lays claims to Ebonyi, that's not my business, una all be Igbo. That's an Igbo family affair. |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by DMerciful(m): 8:27pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
You can only do that in Yoruba nation...there's no family affair in Nigeria 1Sharon: |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by hammer567: 8:28pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
1Sharon:In African and Igbo culture, it is taboo for an Igbo from Anambra to lay claim to any part of Ebonyi. That sounded greek to my ears just now. Very UNAfrican. |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by 1Sharon(f): 9:15pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
DMerciful:Exactly. I thought you wanted to check-out, wetin comcern you with Lagos again. |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by DMerciful(m): 9:18pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
Yoruba nation must exit Nigeria first. As long as you're in Nigeria, every inch of Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians 1Sharon: |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by 1Sharon(f): 9:20pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
hammer567:But it's okay to lay claims to Lagos and other faraway strange lands? |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by 1Sharon(f): 9:20pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
DMerciful:I hear ya..Land grabber |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by hammer567: 9:26pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
1Sharon:Sameway we lay claim to Abuja, not for ourselves, but for all Nigerians including Yoruba's. Y? It took concentration of our collective effort and resources to build. |

| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by Raf4: 10:00pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
DMerciful:Every part of SW was actually witnessing development until your envious kinsman, Aguiyi Ironsi, truncated democracy and destroyed regionalism via his draconian decree 34. He specifically targeted SW progress. Many of SW properties were snatched and transferred to FGN eg UI, UCH, University of Ife, WNTV, Liberty stadium, Western Nigeria House in London etc. |

Bardo:Lagos "colony" was made wealthy by European traders. Lagos (western region) which is atleast 95% of Lagos was built using the wealth of the western region prior to Ironsi scattering everything plus the creation of states by Gowon. The Egbas, Ibadan, and Ijebus were also very wealthy due to trade with Europeans as well. Anyway, Lagos is SW and a Yoruba land. |
| Re: Welcome To Victoria Island by plaindealer: 11:25pm On Jun 08, 2024 |
DMerciful:So in regional government, you go uproot Lagos and join am with Biafra? Or you go just create a separate region for Lagos? You people are always comedic and never serious.. |

raskymonojendor:The western region was so rich to the extent that they got lowest locations form the colonial masters. Awolowo even said the western region was ready to finance any capital they decide to choose to anywhere in Nigeria. In another book written by the same colonial masters, the eastern region was the poorest. You can see why they covet Lagos.
