It is not a gadget that comes with a manual that tells how you can operate it safely without challenges. People are battling all sorts of addictions and struggles internally. Look at the lady who was defiled as a child, and started sleeping with her dogs, she has now committed suicide after sharing her story. Your mum needs to know ASAP, she needs to start ART, in HIV, every second or day without treatment makes the virus more difficult to combat and causes a lot of damages to the body. Remember that HIV converts the body's immune system to its replication chamber, it literally destroys the body everyday. She needs to know and start her treatment today. Did a competent laboratory confirm that your mum is positive? I suggest that she knows her status. This will help her life a healthier life. It will also protect her and others greatly. She may need counselling if she tests positive.

Though not time for blames but let me point out some. How can a normal human being called man be promiscuous without financial security? How can a normal human being called woman to be so careless or carefree to not know her status up till now? See, when it comes to ignorance, God does not even interfere, he allows you to perish for lack of knowledge.
