"The impending availability of locally refined petroleum products remains the key to unlocking Nigeria's economic growth", Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON.
Lagos, Nigeria - June 7- 9, 2024:
The Nigerian Senate leadership, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, conducted a three-day visit to Lagos State, inspecting key projects in the oil and gas industry and exploring ways to enhance Nigeria's economic growth.

Friday, June 7- Arrival and Presentation at Eko Hotel:

The Senate leadership arrived in Lagos on Friday and attended a presentation at Eko Hotel, where they received an overview of the Dangote Group's projects and their potential impact on Nigeria's economy.

Saturday, June 8 - Visit to Dangote Refinery, Fertiliser Plant, Truck Assembling Plant and Ports:

The Senate leadership visited the Dangote Refinery in Lekki, Lagos State, on Saturday.
The refinery, Africa's largest, has the potential to boost Nigeria's economy and energy sector.

During the visit, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) and the Ad-hoc Committee investigating the Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) Projects of Nigerian Refineries, expressed his admiration for the refinery's state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Sunday, June 9- Repeat Visit to Dangote Fertilizer Plant, Truck Assembling Plant and Ports:

On Sunday, the Senate leadership again visited the Dangote Fertilizer Plants, Truck Assembling Plant and Ports, where they gained valuable insights into the production process and the facility's potential to revolutionize Nigeria's agricultural sector. The Dangote Fertilizer Plants are expected to reduce Nigeria's reliance on imported fertilizers and boost the country's food production.

The Dangote Refinery, Fertilizer Plant, Truck Assembling Plant and Ports are crucial projects that have the potential to transform our economy and energy sectors.

The 10th Senate leadership's visit to the Dangote group is in line with its commitment towards supporting key projects in the oil and gas industry, in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Dangote refinery, as well as the three refineries presently undergoing Turn Around Maintenance, have the potential to revolutionize Nigeria's oil and gas industry.

The Senate is committed to providing the necessary support and oversight to ensure the success of these projects,
" Senate President Godswill Akpabio stated.
"We are confident that these projects will have a significant impact on Nigeria's economic growth and development."

Ifeanyi Ubah na mumu o. He is leading committee to tour Dangote facilities in Lagos but the Nnewi fraudster couldn't invest anything tangible in Anambra except a single substandard petrol station and 419 football club that he has disbanded after achieving his political aim. Chronic debtor that wants to rule and bankrupt Anambra.
