They did. In 2017, the palace placed a curse on Cultist, yahoo and Traffickers. But since then, there activities skyrocketed. It seems the curse boost their activities

They can never abolish Prostitution. Prostitution is their major source of income. Most of the buildings you see in that State, were build with Prostitution money. They legalized it.

A father will send his daughter abroad to go do prostitution and send him money. A husband will send his wife abroad to do the same thing.

As a matter of safety of the citizen well-being the Oba should respect rule of law and Shane hooliganism.

Edo in the traditional sense doesn't refer to the political unit known as Edo State. Other senatorial districts have their own hierarchy of traditional authority.Don't mislead the ignorant on purpose to suit your narrative.

The Otaru of Auchi, Zaiki of Uromi, Zaiki of Irrua, Enogie of Obazuwa, etc are answerable to the Oba.
That's been our tradition and system from time immemorial and we are one and the same people.

There is no provision for the so-called Okaghele, Agberos or CDAs in Nigeria constitution or state laws, they are outlaws using cult brute force, intimidation and bought influence in high places to rule over government unprotected citizens because the Nigeria state is weak. Even in Lagos, families were allowed or given concession over their historical family land. In Benin and environs, these men took over every family land that our ancestors lived and farmed on, gave some to their cult sponsors and sold most of the land in Benin for themselves. They have the chiefs and Odioweres (village heads) in their pockets. In selling these land, no reservation for public service space such as; parks, markets, schools, business parks, hospitals, local clinics etc. Everyone just watching them use Benin land where families have farmed historically sold to the highest bidder for themselves. Since they sold all the land, now they threatened every developer in edo. These young and middle aged men refused to take advantage of the current government effort to train and make them employable.

What are the hierarchical orders in the other senatorial districts?

I gave a summary of our traditional hierarchy system in an earlier post and it remains that way until WE Edos decide to modify when necessary.

Unfortunately nobody is above the Law the Oba included he is a ceremonial traditional ruler with no constitutional executive or legislative powers .

He is a nostalgic figure head 🗣️ of a past completely gone, he needs to understand he is not governing or in government.

If segments of his non ruling structure have been found to criminally culpable he should allow the law to take it's course.

The Oba of Benin is just out to cause confusion... The Oba was the first person to ban Okaighele and CDA, then he lobbied Obaseki to make it a law which the governor did, so what is the problem here? Okaighele and CDA are the causes of all the community crisis in Edo South, they can even override Odionwere the village head. The latest of such crisis is that of Ugbineh community where two Okaigheles have emerged. Okaigheles can sell one plot of land to 100 people, and he will pocket the monies without the knowledge of Odionwere.

The Governor have no power over the oba of Benin, I am reacting to the part u said the Governor have been too patient wih him.
