Why will states pay 30k, 40k, 50k 60k or 70k. Why can't they pay 100k? Forget the fact that each states have different allocation. But trust me, if you see the amount state governors are spending on themselves, families, judges, house of assemblies.. you will open ur mouth

If this list is real,i don't think it's far from the economic realities in those states.A state like Abia and Kaduna cannot pay #50k and above as minimum wage, because of huge debt inherited in both states.Edo state can pay #70k because our debt is not huge and we don't have huge numbers of civil servants.The only area we have issues in Edo state is local government.I am aware that local govts are still paying #18k minimum wage and most local govt retirees since,2012 or so have not received their gratuity.

This is the more reason to have state resource control cos it's true and evident that all fingers are not equal so will the minimum wage across state but with adequate economic structures they can all compete to better taking care of their indegienes.
