Why they were carved into Benue rather than Ebonyi, I will never know. Over one million Igbos that should have been in Ebonyi were carved into Benue State for no reason other than to get the population of Benue to State level |

Esama:Where do you want them to run to? Before creation of that state that has always been their land. Only cowards run my brother! Better to die to defend your land than run... Get that to your head |

Esama:You're supporting killing because Igbo was mentioned as the victim. Every Nigerian has the right to live and thrive in any part of Nigeria. Meanwhile the places mentioned in this news are Igboland. Go back and read |

In order for the map line to be straight, some people get carved into a place where they become minority and oppressed. |

100millionGoal:You are ment. Benue can never be their land. Are you normal so? Besides, Benue are peace loving people. If you comprehended what was written there, you will understand that the attack was not from their host, but from Uffiom, their fellow Ebonyi people. |

Jamestown123:Lol. Read before u start to rant. They said Ezza people of Benue. Ezza is in Benue and have always been there... I no tell anybody to collect Benue from you... I only said Ezza people should defend where they have always been and where they call their ancestral land. You have too much Fulani herdsmen to worry about before giving yourselfs another headache |

Esama:See what Igbo hate has turned this one into. They are not settlers, its their land, the British and Nigeria drew a map that placed them in Benue just like we have Yorubas in Benin Republic and Igala in Anambra State because they are a minority you expect Igbos to ask Igalas to move to Kogi State? |

This is just one of the too many attrocities Nigeria's Federal Government under Military Rule committed against Igbos. In their wicked efforts to disorganize and reduce Igbos and Southeast landmass by all means after the civil war, they intentionally carved out Southeast communities from Southeast and put them in either Benue, Rivers, Cross River or Akwa Ibom States. Out of the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, only Southeast that houses one of the three major tribes in Nigeria have just five states while others have six and seven, yet some wicked souls don't see anything wrong in this because it favors their region and disfavours Igbos they love to hate. God is not happy with Nigeria, the injustice, the sins, the innocent bloodsheds wasted are so much. Until Nigerians repent of their sins and start treating every Nigerian tribe with love, equity and fairness, Nigeria will continue to struggle as a nation. And only a God fearing and passionate President who understands the laws of nature and the importance of love, justice, fairness and empathy that can lead this honest reconciliation and rebirth of Nigeria, if not, Nigeria goes no where as a nation even in 1,000 years from today. |

100millionGoal:Lol, I'm not giving myself headache over any Ezza people. Ezza were just settlers, who ran to Benue state then because of all these wars. The people of ezza were giving shelter and lands to farm and make a living by the people of Ado. It's now very shameful and hurtful to see them claiming the lands. It's going to make other villages be wary of them, and not decide to accommodate them. Because as it seems, the war between Uffiom and ezza is not ending soon. Nobody prays for war, but uffioms seems to be looking for trouble always and not backing down. |

100millionGoal:How do you expect peace when people like this exist. People who can't co-exist peacefully with their host. Is that not what Fulani headsmen are doing? Or you think Benue is the only placed being attacked? |
| Re: We’ve Lost Over 400 People, Igbo Community In Benue Cries Out by 100millionGoal: 8:02am On Jun 11, 2024 |
Jamestown123:Benue is not the only place being attacked. My dad was a victim of Fulani people last year actually so I totally understand. Just that I believe Benue and Platue are the two states suffering the most Fulani Herdsmen related casualties |

I use this opportunity to call Simon Ekpa to extend BRA to Benue State to arm our brothers and sisters to defend thire self because the government of Nigeria and Benue State will like to wipe them our of their land . The idiot warlords is a coward when Fulani slaughtered them but want to Vange thire anger on innocent igbo people. Ohanaze and igbo politicians should do what it take to bring them back to south east or the enemy will wipe them out. |

Jamestown123:Mumuni,these are examples of the kith and kin divided by the indiscriminate border partitioning by the military during state creation sometimes using landmarks like rivers to separate brothers and sisters. The said Ezza people are d same Ezza people living in Ohaukwu LGA of Ebonyi who share border with Benue |

So you're thinking the artificial borders drawn by the military defines a people? Where was the state of benue 70yrs ago? Non existent but these people have been there for over 600yrs! Jamestown123: |
